Phil Spector's problems sholdn't detract from the fact that he was responsible for some great female group records.From the same era The Shangri-La's are a favourite of mine.
The most recent female bands I've seen and enjoyed are Vivian Girls and Ipso Facto.
I guess she just reached the age when the rioting needs to be more sedate.It happens to us all eventually.:smile:I tried to get in to Le Tigre, because of Kathleen Hanna, just didn't take for me, the same way Bikini Kill did.
Bikini Kill was more raw, and had a bit more heart behind it (IMO)
