Does nobody else like Bikini Kill?

It took me awhile to get into them, but they made some really great music at their peak.

Yes,I liked Bikini Kill.I enjoyed the whole 90's riot grrrl scene.I like Kathleen Hanna's next band Le Tigre too.
Phil Spector's problems shouldn't detract from the fact that he was responsible for some great female group records. From the same era The Shangri-La's are a favourite of mine.
The most recent female bands I've seen and enjoyed are Vivian Girls and Ipso Facto.

I tried to get in to Le Tigre, because of Kathleen Hanna, just didn't take for me, the same way Bikini Kill did.

Bikini Kill was more raw, and had a bit more heart behind it (IMO)

I guess she just reached the age when the rioting needs to be more sedate. It happens to us all eventually.
This thread led me to find this Le Tigre clip which I hadn't seen before so you've done me a favour! :fing02:
