Best Anal Lube (perhaps Numbing?)

I have a 27-year old friend who loves to bottom, but has extreme pain after sex (prior issue with internal hemorrhoids). He’s looking for a good numbing-style (?) lube so he can be fucked without much pain afterwards. Any good recommendations?

He was looking into poppers, but doesn’t want to risk taking any sort of drugs. Is there any lube that may relax your muscles a bit too? Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Numbing lubes are not recommended for people who have pain during anal sex. The pain is a sign of damage being done, and numbing just enables you do to more damage that exacerbates and prolongs the thing that's causing you the pain. It's a bit like ignoring a broken arm with pain killers -- you're doing more damage in the long run and prolonging the recovery.

If the guy has hemorrhoids or anal fissures or other issues, he should see a doctor and have those dealt with. There are treatments that will heal those ranging from upping the fiber in his diet all the way to minor in-office surgical procedures that can help.

I know of what I speak -- I had issues with an anal fissure that I kept trying to ignore and power through for nearly a year. When I finally went to the doctor about it, he was like, "If you'd have only come in sooner, this could have been a few weeks of a problem, not a few months." :-(

So tell your friend to deal with it as soon as he can, he's only prolonging it. And a numbing lube will only make it worse.

Thanks! I think his other issue is that he doesn’t relax his muscles. Always is tense so that could be another issue.

Now that's what I call wise advice. Wines, you did a very good service by posting this!

I agree with others. If there is pain then there is something wrong. You shouldn’t ignore that. If there is medical issues then they should be taken care of by a professional. If there is a ‘capacity’ issue, then stretching should be looked into and intercourse visited at a later date
