Finding the right guy is simply a numbers game. If you want to find that guy who is one in a million, you need to be willing to wade through the effluent to do it.

Look at apps as an advertising platform. The more places you can promote yourself, the more people can approach you who are interested in you.

So my suggestion is to be on all the apps, plus Facebook, Instagram etc. Encourage friends to go with you to gay interest groups, events, charities, church etc.

Also, sometimes you need to be open enough to give people a chance even if they may not be exactly what you had in mind. They may turn out to be more compatible in ways you can't see at first glance.

Grindr is still the best imo simply because there are way more people on it than any other app. So if you don't check it at least occasionally you are cutting out TONS of potential guys and lowering your chances of finding the right one.

grindr is on it's way out.... i only use scruff and adam4adam now, and i think i'll stick with them for the time being.... if it's something more romantic that you want, i've found okcupid has more guys who want to go the more traditional routine of dating and relationships.... i don't use it because that's not what i'm looking for.... you could also check out the BRO app which is connected through your facebook account....

but i digress.... it's not the apps that are the issue.... it's the people who use them.... hence grindr is losing popularity so fast.... sure there's lots of guys, but most of them are dickwads.... i'm liking scruff tho.... had a few hiccups in the first couple of days getting to know the app, but i'm actually meeting some really nice people on it now and making friends..... with benefits in the works.....

I like A4A too but it seemed like recently I've had less success on there.

Scruff is better for that, though it is going to still be based heavily on where you live.

I have had great success with Scruff, moderate success with SilverDaddies and total strikeout with A4A.

Several FBs with both Scruff and SilverDaddies, so I do recommend both of those. Never tried Grindr.

But Scruff and SilverDaddies are catering to older gay men (40+) though. I don’t use Grindr so I don’t know what it’s like on there personally.

I have tried going on more ‘traditional gay dating’ sites like PoF and Matchmaker and such. So far no luck either. Mostly only older gay men are on there 45yo+. There were only about a few dozen or so guys around my age group 28-35 and more than half of them wanting to be a cum-bucket.

I wish grindr was dying but I see no signs of that at all. I've never gotten anything good off Adam4Adam.

Okay, I’m really over apps like Grindr and Tinder were all the guys are super messy and don’t want anything more than a hookup.

What is the best dating app for finding serious relationships? I’m really interested in I am hearing people’s responses.
I hate to say it but, I don’t think there is one. Gay apps just automatically become hookup apps

theres a site called fabguys.com which covers Americas and Europe, and in Uk a site called vivastreet.co.uk where I found my previous fb.

tinder, grindr, planetromeo full of fakes, catfish, scammers and lots who have no intention of ever meeting

Grindr seems to be improving. They’ve cut down on the number of bothersome ads and pop ups. I think the key is being honest in your profile about what you’re there for. SilverDaddies used to be my favorite, but it’s old fashioned and the last time I had a membership there, my credit card number was stolen. The owner told me it wasn’t the site’s fault, but since it was the only place I used my card, it had to be them. LPSG is fantastic for meeting nice guys, but most aren't in my area.

Sorry for reposting, but lately I’ve been having trouble replying to posts. Somehow my posts end up merged with the post I’m replying to.

Anyway....
