Personally, I despise tributes. The first time I was offered one I thought it was a compliment. Then when I was presented with one I was totally grossed out.

Why in the world would anyone take this as a compliment? I would never give consent for my photo to be used in such a way and posted publicly.

Yes, consent would definitely be mandatory.

Hope this next comment is not too far off topic but here goes:
I had a few of my pics from another site 'borrowed' and the guy used them in his profile. That happened before I ever populated my album(s) here on LPSG. He was misrepresenting for sure, but I realized there would be a risk of posting naked pictures of me even though site members only would be able to see them. What pissed me off is that when I called him out on it AND asked the site administrator to deal with it, nothing was done.

I love it when people view my stuff and comment on it. For me, it would depend on what was being done with my pics (or video if I had any posted). It may be a compliment as long as it's not a tribute for worst member pic/video.
