YouTube - Richie Kotzen - "Sara Smile" (Unplugged)

I don't like music videos; they always seem so contrived. I prefer live music. If you see or hear something there you know it wasn't manufactured in a studio.

PS watch the staccato 3/4 of the way through

I haven't watched videos in many years but one that stands out as one of my favs is: Don't Come Around Here No More - Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. A good video and a good song. The cake cutting scene at the end is cool but was slightly controversial. Maybe by now the PC zealots got over it.

Another fav: Relax, "banned" version - Frankie Goes to Hollywood. They were naive to think they could air that in the 80s. It's not the best video but it's fun to watch.

I was thoroughly impressed by Christina Aguilera's "Candy Man" video. She never looked more beautiful than she does in that video, and I love the retro vibe. Of all the little pop-tarts, she's the only one that has any true talent...that girl can sing!

I concur on both...I always thought the KP video was damned cool. And Christina is just sex on a fucking stick.

Another one I like is Tom Petty's Last Dance with Mary Jane.

I had never heard of this group, but I checked out the video. The song's pretty good (typical club fare, but good nonetheless)!

Another favorite of mine is Annie Lennox "Why." A hauntingly beautiful song by an amazingly talented singer.
