The worst hugs are the ones with no feeling in 'em. I'm a half-Greek. We love you, we hug you, plain and simple. None of this A-frame, gotta touch as little of you as I can. I have insanely long arms and I can wrap up just about anyone in a good hug. I don't squeeze really tight; it's just firm, and I hold for a second or two and pat a bit. The best hugs are the ones that make you feel okay after a really shitty day.

I agree with DB except that I would add that I like them to last awhile rather than the ones that seem timed: not too long because it's uncomfortable. I'm Italian so I get and receive a lot of them. I also don't like the 10 second hug and the after-pat-on-the-back that guys seem to practice now. It's pretty homophobic to me. Just my take.

Can't remember wich one was best or worse or intresting. But the best are the hugs you get from people and feel that they do care about you and love you. Pitty enough those hugs are a rarity. Sometimes I just wanna give such a hug to some friends so they see I care and that they aren't alone :smile:

And intresting, well suprise hugs maybe from people from who you didn't expected such a thing.
