so in about 4 months im going on an externship for school. im currently a culinary student, so im required to work in a restaurant for about 6 months. and my school has amazing connections worldwide, so basically i can work wherever i choose anywhere in the world and i dont know where to go. wherever im going has to be an english speaking country, thats the only requirement. if only i had followed through completely in my italian and spanish studies, i wouldve chosen italy or spain, but i didnt.:banghead2: im thinking san diego but i wanna get out of america. so im thinking london. but i dont know. maybe australia. i need a place where there is culinary excellence. but im also 21, so i need a diverse culture so i can have fun fun fun. any suggestions outside the US? i like all weather seasons. but i do want to surf. i need a place where no one knows me and far far away from home, which NYC. any ideas anyone.?

Australia. If your in the food game, then you'd have to pick Melbourne which has a raging restaurant scene.

Barsonlyone: I love San Diego. The south of France might be nice along the Mediterranean, but SD is a sure bet. Check it out before you decide.
