I am not from New York just travel there for business a lot - I am a fan of John's of Bleecker for pizza - not good on rest if those - sorryI was thinking of going to one dainty, french inspired place. A comfort food place (maybe for brunch) one pizza place, a few bakeries, and somewhere in china town, i know that doesn't narrow it down much
no worries, thanks for your response ill be looking up the ones you quoted in the previous postI am not from New York just travel there for business a lot - I am a fan of John's of Bleecker for pizza - not good on rest if those - sorry
And for brunch if weather is nice - Gallow Greenno worries, thanks for your response ill be looking up the ones you quoted in the previous post
for sure. i would never wait an hour for a cupcakeFor bakeries follow your nose. Stay away from Magnolia. It is super overrated.
They taste terrible, too. I think people like them because they taste like your grandmother made Betty Crocker or Duncan Heins box cake a little dry, with cheap, vegetable shortening based icing. Fucking terrible. But everyone's childhood includes poorly made cupcakes.for sure. i would never wait an hour for a cupcake
Forget the hot dog vendors. Do the halal carts.I want to say that I never ate at a restaurant in NYC that wasn't good. I never ate at the Times Square chain restaurant fare, but even just hot dog vendors on the street were yummy.
what about PAPAYA KING?Forget the hot dog vendors. Do the halal carts.
Nothing. Those hot dogs are great. But the halal carts have a better variety of options and are a better value. There's a waffle truck roaming the streets too. It's novel, but not amazing. Still, if you see it...What's wrong with dirty water hot dogs?
Gray's Papaya sells a "recession special". I think. I last ate a Gray's a decade ago.what about PAPAYA KING?
