Oh yeah, another hot one was in Angel Heart, the scene with Mickey Rourke and Lisa Bonet. Got her kicked off the Cosby show! If the sex scene wasn't enough (and it was, in my opinion), the intimation of incest surely did it.

Yeah, I have no doubt that was clever planning, but a stellar performance nonetheless! Mickey Roarke was actually still acting back then, and if that wasn't enough you get Robert Deniro in the mix. Alan Parker's genuis attention to directoral detail, and it gets my vote for one of the best movies of the 80's, still hard to believe it's that old.

"Women in Love". A British film, released about 1969-70 or so, starring Glenda Jackson, Oliver Reed and Alan Bates. D.H. Lawrence wrote the book and Ken Russel directed. There is a nude wrestling scene between Bates and Reed that is so completely sexual it's amazing. No sex occured. I saw that movie when I was about 14 or so and it still stands out as one of the most erotic sexual scenes I have ever viewed.

Since it was made from a banned DH Lawrence book, I am not surprised it is so hot.Also great for sensual movies are those made from Thomas Hardy books. I also loved An adaptation of John Galswothy's A Summer story .It is so rich and sensual.

No, if I remember quite correctly, and it's rare occasion when I don't, Anthony Lapaglia's character lived throughout the whole movie!
