Here are two of my favorites. Friday Night Lights and Rudy. I have others but what are some of yours? (Can be football, basketball, hockey, baseball or other sports.)
Bad New Bears, Caddy Shack, Longest Yard (the original), The Sandlot, Miracle, Tin Cup, Happy Gilmore, Jerry Maguire, Baseketball, Remember the Titans
Yes, I should have listed Slapshot! We the movie first came out, Birmingham (AL) had just been introduced to the frozen sport with a new coliseum and a hockey team. I think most everyone in the area went and cheered that movie! I wish it would be on Blu Ray.
Hoosiers, Field of Dreams, Brian's Song, Million Dollar Baby, Cinderella Man, We Are Marshall, Remember The Titans, Bill Durham, Chartiots of Fire, 8 Seconds, Major League
Don't know if this can be classified as a sports movie, I don't even play baseball. Field Of Dreams. It involves a ball sport anyways.
Any Given Sunday - Al Pacino's Inspirational Speech - YouTube Before the Aussies chime in about gridiron football being a limp sport, *eat me.*
Brian's Song was one of the most sad movies I've ever seen. The man died from testicular cancer. They didn't tell that in the movie.
