It's always a hassles finding just the right swim suit. I hate board shorts that don't show anything off, but they are convenient because they hold everything in. Does anyone have any suggestions or examples of what works for you? I want something that shows that I am packing but is not not offensive or grotesque.

I'm wearing JM pouch boxer and square boxer swimsuits. They hold the package without mashing it flat. Very comfy. I bought them in Canada.

First where are you going to use it.
If you are going to train on a pool that there is a team training use some kind of speedo (i use one that is like to a boxer)
If you are going to a beach where everyone uses board shorts you have to use them.

For me board shorts is a stupid fashion they are awfull to swim so i pick someting shorter or i use a speedo under my stupid board shorts.

Speedo makes a type of trunk that has a liner and is more like the traditional baggy swim shorts. Boardshorts? I can't wear them. I put on way too much of a show.

Have a few from xwear.com.au. A local Aussie made brand with some space up the front.

I wear two items to the beach or for swim wear...

    boardshorts or speedo jammers.

I wear the jammers when I go scuba diving, but some I am done sometimes I will just stay in the jammers and not change. Can show enough without being offensive ;-)

    Cookies are Required at Undergear.com

I have some of these. The waistband is constructed as an open "tube"- so I purchased a shoelace and pulled it thru to create a drawstring that ties and sits behind the front snap- just to give me a little bit of extra security in the pool.

guess that won't work. It's the European Swim Trunk (royal blue/black) found at undergear.com in the swimwear category.
