Here, read through it yourselves

It’s hilarious haha

Hi. I'm Beto O'Rourke, a candidate for President. : IAmA

Yes. Firearm wingnuts are still in a panic over the support for his confiscation plan so they deluged his AMA with downvotes and snarky replies. He should've seen it coming (it's a lot easier for online crowds to gather remotely from their dens / basements / beds / etc than it is to show up en masse and protest in the real world at a rally), but it doesn't really reflect anything more than the irritation that assault rifle owners are experiencing over the suggestion that they might lose them.

And so we get a new thread from someone else who is supposedly not threatened by Beto starting a thread in the politics section which less about political discussion and more a failed attempt to mock a political figure who's having some measure of success in pushing action on a political issue in a direction you're opposed to.,

Guess they're afraid that Beto will come to NZ to take away their guns ... so scary.

I think that Beto is going to take back shorty shorts too...

He’s not having any success actually. He’s planning on completely confiscating gums and he’s running in Texas.

Lmao

No wonder he’s tanking in the polls

he's doing slightly better in polls than before he advocated for assault rifle confiscation.

He's running for national office, not Texas office.

A majority of Texans support confiscation of assault rifles.

Maybe stick to local politics?
