I had the same problem as your boyfriend. I've now been circumsised (thank you NHS!). The tight foreskin wasn't causing me that much of a problem, but it always made putting a condom on difficult and it made me less sensitive. Since I've had the snip I defiently haven't regretted it, but there was a long period of painful bandage wearing and swolleness (not v pleasant at all). But I've had comments off a girl who experienced it before and after that it feels a lot bigger, especially around the head - so you might want to convince your bf to have it done after all. lol.
