A psychologist would say dreams are the window to our subconscious. I have always had particularly lucid dreams, especially of the erotic variety. I probably had my first wet dream when I was 12 or 13. They were always straight fantasies, fucking impossibly hot women in impossibly hot ways. Inevitably waking up with that very wet sheet feeling and the embarrassment of explaining to mum that I'd spilt "another drink" in bed. Even in later life, with a real life woman in the same bed, the dreams continued although less frequently, and often with an improved control of orgasm.
As a bisexual, the dreams have remained straight about eighty per cent of the time. But occasionally I have very lucid dreams of gay sex. The dream usually involves me watching two guys fucking though I can never be sure if one of the bodies is me. Another common one is where I have the ability to self suck, which I've never managed in reality. As I suck myself, the images merge and fade between it being my cock to that of another guy. So what is my subconscious telling me? That I need more cock? I wouldn't argue there!
How do you dream?

Jung said dreams are the window to the psyche--the unconscious mind--to who you really are.

IMO your dreams reflect your (bi)sexuality--however you define it on the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

My experience is similar to yours. I grew up straight (really with the expectation of family & culture that I would/must be straight). All my early sex dreams were straight. They remained so even when I started having romantic same sex crushes as a young man. Those crushes (+outright lust) made me aware I might be bi.

My sex dreams didn't become bi until I had sex with a guy for the first time at 22. For a short time my dreams became 100% same sex. They were so overwhelming it made me think I was gay. I made plans to come out as gay but before I could my sex dreams switched back to straight.

In short my sex dreams settled into 90% straight 10% gay. That ratio hasn't changed much in four decades. When I first joined LPSG I posted my straight/gay ratio as 90/10. Later I changed it to 70/30 to reflect the ratio of partners I've had.

That said I've had all kinds of sex dreams including being a straight woman, a gay woman and, like you, dreams where I'm shifting between the bodies of those having sex. I've had dreams I was a pregnant woman or man with a baby kicking in my belly. I've also had dreams where I can't tell what sex or gender my body is. I'm just human.

One more thing to consider is that dreams may have a compensatory effect. For example after I had sex with a guy the first time my sex dreams became 100% gay. They were compensating for my absolute denial I my own mind that I was gay. When I accepted I was gay they switched back to 90% straight. Those dreams corrected my wrong-mindedness on the issue. They restored my reality and balance.

Dream on!

When I was young, my sex dreams were always with women even though I would sometimes masturbate to Playgirl magazine . As I entered my 30’s, I would have the occasional gay sex dream. As I got older the rare sex dream was 50/50 men/women but never both together. But while I would get very close, I was never able to reach an orgasm while dreaming. Never had a wet dream. It was very frustrating!

I remember once telling my fuckbuddy I had dreams of him and his mate taking turns on me anally while I slept, passed out from "partying" with them. He told me I wasnt dreaming and that I was awake occasionally only just very briefly.

Before anyone asks, yes I did give them total consent before the partying began, as long as they didnt do damage to my hole and used lube, lol. My fuckbuddy knows this has always been our arrangement when I was alone only with him.
