It is your preference. Granted, most gay and bi guys are interested in it, but there are plenty who don't. Just be up front about it without being judgmental, but you will have to realize that you are limiting yourself in potential partners, especially males. I don't have any good advice for you but there's been some solid advice in this thread.

I don't find anal sex erotic at all with guys or women. The idea of it is actually a little gross to me. Oral sex is so exciting with men or women mixed with making out and a lot of body contact. I'm also pretty vers with most of my sexual partners.

It's not weird to not like anything anal with either men or women, but it is a minority position, especially with gay or bi men. Yes, lots of guys hook up and get off without anal. But, in my experience, anal is more often than not part of the sex-with-men experience. As for women, I think anal is less prevalent (at least in real life - in porn, it is ubiquitous).

Personally, I love it with both. With guys, anal is involved in some way (fingering, licking, fucking) probably 80% of the time. I just love asses, I guess, lol!

I have a straight friend who is obsessed with anal sex with women, and with ass play for himself - but no other men involved. He's not ashamed of it, but actually looks down on me for finding it distasteful. I certainly don't judge people who are into anal, I just find the hygiene issue bothers me.

also, I enjoy the fact that vaginal penetration carries the wonderful 'danger' of life-giving pregnancy. And i love that sperm reacts in the vagina with real purpose - such as destroying other men's sperm, racing one another ferociously to get to the finishing line (egg) & most fascinatingly, being pushed closer to the cervix by a longer penis, and an increase in fertilization odds if the woman cums. I also get off majorly on the fact that the vagina actually gets used to a long term partner's sperm, and gives a leg up to fresh new sperm, meaning a woman who is cheating is more likely to get pregnant from her lover's sperm than her boyfriend's.

all those things give vagina the edge over ass. Sperm is made for vagina - at least for me. it has a grand evolutionary purpose, and it proves it when it's let loose in a woman.
