A tendon strain is one of those things that can really only be healed up by letting it rest.
Any kind of exercise will likely prolong the recovery time.
I've had to deal with them & it sucks.
Aleve, some light stretching, & lots of down time are about the only things that consistently help.
@Snarky_succubus and I go to a chiropractor that works on very high level athletes. He has had success in working the whole area, from neck/trap all the way to my thumb. But, again, it takes time.
Massage and pressure point work had about zero percent effectiveness on me... But, everybody's different.
Good luck to you.

I've been dealing with tendonitis of my bicep for about 6 months now. It's gotten better, but not perfect. Any recommended exercises?
Rest, reducing inflammation, deep tissue massage techniques like Graston or Rolfing... and peptides. Nothing is going to fix it if you don’t give it enough rest/opportunity to heal, though.

I get this periodically in my shoulder. I have to lay off totally. Let it “heal”. Ifound that I was using my shoulder slightly wrong. Since I adjusted it hadn’t been back.

I had issues in both my biceps different times from lifting, the pain felt like it was in my elbow but it was where my bicep runs through and is connected in your forearm. I took time to heal but it would come back and went on for a year getting worse. When my sport Dr recommend Astym (not E stim something completely different) therapy I was not sure about it but I like trying non surgery options. I highly recommend it really works! When it happened in my other arm I didn’t wait to get the Astym and healed even faster (less damage) Here is a link to info in it. I basically makes you body focus on healing the problem area.
