Bicycle/exercise shorts?

nacard01: I used to love riding my bike when I was a little kid.
I never do now and I have 3 bikes that are still large enough for me to ride.
Either A) It is uncomfortable as hell or I hurt myself everytime I try or B) The attention I draw to myself when I try to find loose fitting enough clothing to allow me to do it is just terrible.

thingsteal: The wife just bought me some long-legged spandex things for running in the winter. I used to deal with running in running shorts + sweatpants down to 20 degrees. I always hated sweatpants.

I put 'em on the other evening because it was 32 degrees outside and dang if it didn't look like I'd scare all the neighbors. I put my running shorts on over them to conceal the bulge. Yes, I looked completely dorky, but I had to do it.

Try doing a search for Performance and Pearl Izuma and Zoic. They all have bike shorts. Zoic seems to specialize in what's called baggies that mountain bikers wear. They've got a liner that kind of holds everything together but outside they just look like baggy shorts.
