...the doctor...told me to try wearing briefs or fitted boxers so i would have some support on my balls...ive never had the pain again, so i guess i did need some support and not let them hang loose...How about you guys anyone ever go thru this?
Every couple of years I go through a period where I have a chronic, dull, non-specific ache in my balls/groin area. The pain gets sharper when I change positions (sometimes I have trouble sleeping because when I roll over in my sleep, the pain wakes me up), when I bend over, or when I lift things. My doctors have never found any signs of a hernia. I do think that wearing some sort of supportive underwear helps reduce the occurence of this mysterious discomfort.
The problem is, although some fashion briefs have a pouch, most of the major brands--the sort of thing that you can find at your local department store--appear to be cut to fit a Ken doll. I don't understand how anyone can wear them. My balls always end up falling out the leg holes. The only other way I could get them to fit would be to shove my balls up my asshole.
Boxer briefs are better. Some are roomier than others. Unfortunately a lot of them pinch and chafe between the legs, or they ride up in the thigh. I find that the ones that fit best are the ones that are almost knee-length (like C9 by Champion, which you can sometimes find at Target), but they're not the most attractive style.
I'm always on the lookout for better, more supportive, comfortable and "erognomic" styles of underwear, but I when I shop online underwear stores, I get overwhelmed by the vast array of styles and put off by the prices. In fact, it was while searching for underwear online that I found lpsg, got distracted by it, and never did get back to my shopping.
