I don't think Colin is playing for the cameras, I think he's just super emotional guy, probably the thing the producers chose him for. Definitely not the sharpest tool in the shed, perhaps that's why he's not particularly respected in the real world which is why small things in the BB house cause him to burst into waterworks. While (I think) I know where he's coming from I'm also annoyed by all his behavior. At the same time I remind myself that a loooot of BB contestants from all over the world say that living in the BB house makes them 100x more emotional than in the real world.

The Reddit threads on Colin are pretty brutal. Some posted screen caps of his friends saying he’s not the way he shows himself on tv. That’s he’s misogynistic, horrible to his exes. Someone even mentioned that he posted a sex vid with an ex. Not sure if that’s true, but people are coming out the woodwork to bash him.
But based on what is said, could I see him doing onlyfans after the show to make money? Absolutely, especially if he doesn’t care about nudity and supposedly has sex vids that others have seen.

I take anything that appears on Reddit with a grain of salt.
It's not like these claims are coming from Reddit, they were just re-posted there. These people have receipts including photos hanging out with Colin and screenshots of his messages using the N word and stuff. Someone said he threw a Vodka bottle at an ex. Given how quickly he flips out and how aggressive he's gotten in the live stream (especially after a few drinks), the behavior his ex-friends claim to have witnessed doesn't seem like a stretch. Conveniently BB never includes any of this in the daily show and continues to push this "poor sensitive Aussie larrikin" story, making everyone else around him look crazy when their response to him was completely justified.
