I've never seen American Idol, either. My previous put downs of that show upset some members.

I watched the first few seasons (Tivo really helped). I wondered at the time how responsible the producers were for the future psychiatrist bills of the contestants until, eventually, it dawned on me that they pick psychos intentionally to heighten the drama.

My life is so much better without TV.
