I would like to start a new thread where people post predictions about how the world will change with respect to attitudes and behaviors relating to the celebration and enjoyment or exaltation or whatever of very large penises.

I'm old enough now to have seen changes along these lines that have already been beyond revolutionary. Where things will go in the future and how fast or slow the changes will continue to be are fun and exciting and stimulating to imagine and fantasize about.

Future sexuality and the idea that it will become completely normal someday (and to a degree already IS) for adults in the everyday world to openly accept and enjoy the superiority and aphrodisiac characteristics and roles that super-hung males of the human species represent is one of my own personal major turn-ons. I invite you to join me in exploring this concept.

For now, it is fiction. But it is the possibility or probability that these things which are currently still taboo or at least frowned upon to talk about or show examples of will become perfectly normal in the future that has the potential to be quite titillating, to say the least.

Do you know any good story with this premise? I think i've read some about black men taking the power and so on, but I would like other perspectives as well, gay or straight

I think Aldous Huxley first broached this subject in Brave New World.

Does anyone know the passage I am talking about?

I think there will be a breakthrough in cosmetic surgery, possibly by the middle of this century.
Enabling transplantation, re-shaping as well as much increased lengthening.
(I believe girth increases are already possible.)

For those who can afford it, they could pretty much have any size they want.

This however will impact in 2 opposing ways......
1. There will be a some who will be fascinated by the 'lengths some men are prepared to go'..... literally.
2. There will be an opposing view that this is repulsive and unnatural.

(ironically similar to historic changes in attitudes)

I also think that any searches for the dna sequence(s) which may or may not determine the size of one's genitals, will not be as straight-forward as might be hoped......
There will probably be a complex and complicated set of other factors which will need to be understood first.
In the pursuit of genetic mutations specifically for increases in the size of a man's dick, there may well unfold some horror stories in the distant future.

https://www.cnn.com/2016/05/16/health/first-u-s-penis-transplant/index.html

A couple of successful penile transplants have already been performed, so I think this is the most likely way we will see "progress" on this front in the future (in quotes because there is some question as to whether or not it's a good idea to allow men to alter the natural course of evolution in such a radical way). I imagine eventually they will find a way to take your stem cells and grow a penis in a lab, ideally finding the specific gene(s) responsible for ceasing its growth and only activating it/them when it has reached a size that is satisfactory to the transplantee. Initially they will only perform this procedure for unfortunate patients who have either lost their phallus in an accident or suffer from penile cancer (as the man in the story above did). As surgeons become more experienced with the procedure, I think it will eventually be offered as a cosmetic procedure to those who want a gender reassignment or to those who suffer from micropenis or Peyronie's Disease. Even further down the line, it will finally be offered to any man who is dissatisfied with the appearance and/or size of his member and has the money to pay for it.

Maybe the best way to explore this would be to trace where we have been, where we began, where we are now and then project where we will go next. I think back to how utterly taboo it was to mention the word "penis" in public when I was a kid and a teenager. There were absolutely no magazines equivalent to Playboy until Playgirl in about 1972, and then the nudity was 100% flaccid, shrunken, smallish penises. I remember when there was finally a model who was impressively hung, probably around 1977, and my sister bringing it home and opening it up excitedly and showing the fold-out to my mom. "LOOK AT THIS!" she announced. It was a bit unnerving.

The movie "Deep Throat" when it debuted in 1972 was a phenomenal breakthrough in many regards. For me, and I will bet for the culture as a whole, it was the moment big cock size was suddenly moved from an unmentionable "secret" that 99% of people absolutely denied mattered at all to women, to a kind of undeniable LAW proving that it mattered more than anything else for women seeking pleasure from recreational sex. I could write an extensive thesis, even a book, about this. Sometime I will find time to at least enter a series of posts on it.

When I turned 18 and my best friend took me to see "Deep Throat" at a neighborhood movie theater in 1973, there was a line of people that went around the block waiting to get in. It was about 50-50% women and men. Most were between the ages of about 25 and 40, mostly late 20s-early 30s. The theater was PACKED. It was hard to find two seats where my friend and I could sit together. The music that accompanied DT star Linda Lovelace's discovery that sucking a nine inch cock was a transformative experience and her first chance to experience an orgasm and sexual thrill was a take-off on the theme song to "The Mickey Mouse Club," which my generation heard every day as very young children in the late 1950s. The lyrics in DT were "Now I want to tell you/ the way it has to be..." It was like the end of innocence was being dictated to all of us, including all us men who up til that moment were in complete denial that women needed big cocks to get off.

The "climax" of Deep Throat, the final scene, depicts Linda being asked by a nerdy character, Wilbur, to marry him. He professes his true love for her. "I'm sorry," she tells him, "but the man I marry has to have a nine inch cock." Wilbur replies, "Oh, I understand." Downtrodden, he laments, "I'm only four inches away from happiness." He suggests maybe the doctor could help him with surgery. Linda agrees, says she loves him but it would be necessary or they could not get together. Wilbur gets on the phone in front of Linda. "Doctor, I'm in love. But Linda needs a nine inch cock." Then, "You can? Oh great. Thank you!" He hangs up the phone, tells Linda, "Good news! He says he can do it!" As he whips out his dick, he exclaims, "The doctor says he can cut it down to any size you want!!"

Linda falls to her knees at the sight of his huge dick. "OHHH, WILBURRR!!!" and attacks it. They go into a blissful blowjob scene complete with images of fireworks, rockets bursting, bells ringing... Wilbur is on his back being devoured lustfully by Linda. Now, the woman who played Linda Lovelace was no great actress. But in this scene, she truly appears to be having the time of her life, and I mean she looks like she is REALLY enjoying that big dick. By today's standards, Wilbur is almost puny, but the literary effect is intact and the impact on the generation watching this, I know was immense.

It wasn't til the late 1980s or early 90s that "Saturday Night Live" finally made a breakthrough with "The Penis Song," which was met with disgust by many... there are so many landmarks along the way in the history of the acceptance of Big Dick Supremacy...

I haven't been around anywhere near as long as Standard Deviant, but even in the last ten years or so there seems to be a big shift in attitudes surrounding cock size, particularly big cocks. Especially in the public arena.

When I was in my late teens and early twenties, things seemed a lot more discreet. I don't mean privately. Most girls I was with weren't that shy about expressing their thoughts on size in bed, but nt so much in public. The few public comments stand out in my memory just because they were so uncommon. I can vividly remember the shock in hearing a girl relate to a group how her ex-boyfriend had a small dick, and knowing he actually was a lot bigger than I was. Nowadays that wouldn't be so shocking.

I don't know much about "Deep Throat" or how women reacted to nude pics of guys in Playgirl, but I think the internet has brought about a huge change in their "public" attitudes about cock size in the last five-to-ten years. Pop culture is rife with references to big cocks (or disdainful comments on small): "Don't Want No Short Dick Man" in music, and cock size references now abound in movies and television. Sites like LPSG have probably made their contribution along these lines. Along with this I've seen the subject increasingly turn up in social conversation, something I think was pretty much unheard of when I was a teenager.

Along with the greater openness on the subject, I think there's been a pronounced shift in attitudes towards size. I think the long-standing belief idea that "size doesn't matter" has given way to the idea that "big is better." At least publicly. By this I mean, women probably still are okay with their guys' average (or even small) endowments; but publicly the ideal has switched to placing the big cock on a sort of phallic pedestal. They may privately be okay with average, but in public they talk only about big (or, disparagingly, about small). As a small-dicked guy, I've been sensitive to this shift in (public) attitudes towards size.

I'm pretty sure men care way more about this than women, let's not get carried away here. I'm sure many of the well-endowed men on this website would like to believe that women secretly worship huge dick, but in reality I think the ideal size is probably in the 6-7 inch range, big but not massive. 5.5 will do for most, only those under 5 should start to be worried, while those under 3 are really unfortunate. On the other side of it, 8 inches and above is probably seen as potentially painful or a hassle to perform oral on by most ladies. Women like to play up the obsession as a joke and because they know they can hold it over our heads, but their primary concerns are looks, body, status, confidence, and after all that, at least average size. A little extra is a nice bonus, nothing more.

Yes, those of us under 5" are far more worried than we used to be. I'm older than necessary to remember when size really wasn't much of a concern for men as compared to now. It was a concern only in the most active circles.

At this rate, eventually, most babies will have "big cock" genes!

Yes, I remember seeing it when it 1st came-out. I snuck to a porn theatre to see it when people were talking about it.

Then, my wife heard about it and wanted to go together. Definitely a major factor in ruining my 1st marriage!

Yes, "size doesn't matter" was dogma before that. Apparently that was a social meme that served society well if not the seekers after spectacular sex!
