I would have to pick C - sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. Yes, I know that was not a choice but I don't see it as a simple either or situation. I been on both sides of the debate - when I was at a period in my life when I was noticeably bigger I felt self conscious being bigger, I also have met people who are bigger and feel they are a little too big and again lack some confidence (which is tied to self esteem). Ditto smaller guys. I'm sure you have seen WallyJ's feelings expressed here, but Love2Compare is the exact opposite in points of view.

When I reached a point where being bigger was a positive (my bath house / cruising days ) I gained a lot of self confidence (self esteem) some of which was undeserved. Other guys I knew were often seemingly unaffected being larger or smaller.

All that said I can say I've seen effects on both sides of the question. In fairness to the OP, it crossed my mind on more than one occasion.

I agreed with you keenobserver, the answer can change as our life situation changed. As I see, if the person has a strong self confident, this question would be a no, but with someone who's insecure with himself, then the answer is a yes. Once that person's situation changed, so is the answer.
For my own personal experience, I did have self conscious with my own size when I noticed models in porn materials either magazine or video that are bigger than the normal everyday guys. This was before digital photoshop, so what you see in the magazine is what it's. Now as I grew older with better self-awareness. I've realized that porn models are real people, but they're also the exception ones, not the norm. I'm celebrate those with big dicks as I'm being part of the male population and accepting that "not all men are created equal".

I also select C. I accept the fact that there are going to be bigger guys - and smaller - than me just like long ago there was always going to be someone with a faster, hotter car, bigger/better house, etc etc etc. That's life. And just as those things don't guarantee one is happy, having a bigger cock doesn't guarantee the owner is any happier/better/etc etc etc, either. It's what you make of it.

Yeah, you need a 3rd option to the poll.

It really depends on the person, and their state of security and self image.

I wouldnt say it hurt my self-esteem but it was humbling when I looked at porn and on here, and found myself that I was on the smaller end of average.

Cause at the end of hte day, you can be muscular, you can be rich, but you arent getting an 7 inch monster if you dont have one

of course it does. it's no different than pretty girls on magazine covers affected young girls' self-esteem. unless a person is mentally mature enough to realize that it's all "fake", they will place their own self-expectation on themselves and it will alter how they look at themselves.

this applies to all... big boobs, expensive cars, nice clothes, career, dating, etc... i can go on forever.
