As a rather promiscuous man with a relatively larger than normal penis, I'd like to presuppose that the number of large penises out there is much less than we all would like to think. For one thing, I've never considered myself to have a huge penis, however, I can't tell you how many times men have been suprised at my size. Alternately, I've only seen about 6 penises bigger than mine. My dick is anything but a matter of pride to me. I'm pretty much a bottom and my dick size has little to do with my ego. But I can't help but snicker at all the talk about huge dicks a urinals and bulges and such. Most men have rather small dicks... wouldn't you say? I don't know.. maybe I'm just a cranky old bitch. Seriously though, how many TRUE 10 inch dicks have you seen? Any skinny guy that is 5'6" with a normal size dick will look big. I'm 6'4" by the way so my dick has never looked that big compared to my body.

Yeah, you're kind of right I guess. But about saying guys on this site aren't hung, even though sometimes it's partially true, I just want to bring up the fact that some of them (including you) are very lenient on themselves when measuring. For example, correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like you have your penis laying on a surface with a measuring tape on the side. This basically shows you measuring from the bottom/side of your penis, as opposed to the "official" way of the top. Also, you're giving yourself close of an inch of "head start" in that picture. I am barely 6 1/2" when measured from the top, but if I were to take a picture exactly like yours, it'd read that I'm easily over 7" (by the way, I'm aware that I'm not "big" and I did not join this site to make myself or others believe so).

Now by that I'm not saying you're a cheater nor that you don't have a big penis (you have a very large penis), I'm just saying that lots of guys (not just on here) do this, plus ontop of that round up. So basically, for example, a cock that's like 7 1/2" turns into, say, 8 1/2", which gets rounded up to 9". There's also trolls that just create accounts on here saying they're 10, 11, 12" but no pictures so it's safe to assume that 9/10 times it's all bullshit.

This also explains why dozens of scientific surveys prove that the average is something like 5 1/2", but every guy who is average claims he's 6". They measure from the side or top which gives them an extra half inch or more. Some go as far as rounding up like I said, which is why these same guys would say they're "about 7 inches" if you'd ask them in person, or if they feel so compelled to bullshit online.

About saying that other men seem to have small cocks, I think you're just very used to your own. What seems more logical, you have a "kinda big" cock and everyone else has small cocks, or you have a very big cock and everyone else has average cocks?

I wonder if you guys might be talking about two different things here: how big someone's dick looks in photographs versus how big it looks in the flesh. A man whose dick is of medium size but whose body is small, viewed in a photograph, will look as if he has a bigger dick than another man with a dick of the same size but a much bigger body, also judged by a photograph. But I doubt whether the two men will be differently assessed if both seen in the flesh.

If I see a guy with, say, six inches hanging soft in the locker room, it doesn't matter if he's seven feet tall, his shlong is stilll going to look huge. But maybe in a photograph he would look less impressive than a stubby guy with a smaller dick that is larger in proportion to his body.

I do not know how many of you body build or work out, but I think it is the same type of thing. When I was a kid, I had big arms (still do) so people would come up to me and tell me how big other guy's were and how they were big too or bigger than mine etc. I am 6' 1" about 245-255lbs and my arms are a solid 19 1/4" (at 255lbs) My arms are round, equally developed tris and bis with long attachments. I also have a 52" unflexed chest.

I would see these other big guys out there with big bi's or tris with short attachments (they would get a really good peak on their bicept) or they were lean as hell or a small frame and everyone thought they were huge. I could tell that that they weren't that big, but how do you argue (why bother) their perception?

Also I have a pretty good set of arms, problably in the top .05% or so, but there are solid 23" arms out there. I think the same goes for dicks.

I generally agree with the OP. It's probably hard for anyone to say for sure what is large unless they've seen a lot of erect penises over a short period of time as a sample. You may think back to a large penis you saw 5 years ago and imagine it was bigger. And it really is hard to judge by pictures.

I agree, it is proportion too, not just leaness. I had some football buddies that were 6'6" or greater and their arms almost looked lanky, but they were huge.

One reason I never consider myself to be that big dick wise, that big body size, that smart, that high of an income etc is that once you are in the game you find out how big big really is.

For instance, I live in a nice neighborhood where everyone has a pretty nice house 2500 to 3000 sqft and worth about $275 to $350. People would think they are doing pretty well. I would say that we are middle of the road for people that try. Many people do not even try to make money or to buy a nice home. Once you get in the game you find out there are a lot of million dollars houses and many of those same people have a cabin as nice as your house.

To relate that to dicks, I think 8 to 9 is huge and most people can relate to, but on a national level there are plenty around 10 or possible 11. I am sure it is possible there are a couple larger but not many.

Well, according to Arjan's Tall Pages less than 1 in 10,000 men in the USA are 6'8" or taller. So that's less than 15,000 of about 150 million men. For each inch more than 6'8" you'd probably have to divide that number by 2-4, so I'd say about 500 or less men are 7' in the USA. I personally knew one guy that was 7'1".
