Big dicks at the hospital?

I am a registered nurse and refuse to provide you with wank fodder. ALL of the nurses I know take their jobs seriously. We are there to take care of your health. No Nurse that I know would have any reaction to seeing a penis. We are healthcare professionals and should be treated with respect.

I work in healthcare as well. You notice it but literally for 3 seconds and then you just go on with your job. I have had several patients get erections in front of me and sort of show it off but I'm not an idiot I would never act on it matter how much they want to show off. I even had one patient jerk off in front of me.

That's crazy. When I say reactions I don't mean like "oh I want to play with it." But just basic reactions to seeing something big. I'm not saying anyone would act on it since its their job and that'd be completely inappropriate, but some times you can't help but notice a massive penis when its laying right in front of you.

Thank you so much for saying this.

Every time I see a thread sexualizing the medical professional, I am both disgusted and frightened. I was sexually assaulted by a doctor many years ago, and I'd like to think that sexualizing patients is rare. Nurses, doctors, even massage therapists should view their patients professionally and NEVER discuss genitalia or breasts even in anonymous forums. It builds distrust among patients and clients. I have to trust my doctors and nurses - especially if I am unconscious. The last thing I want to worry about is sexual thoughts and comments being shared between professionals or to a sex site about my body.

So thank you @Industrialsize for representing your profession so well. Other nurses I know seem to share the same ethical behaviour and for that I am grateful.

Lafemme sorr to hear about u... i come from medical profession.. no one see patient n discuss her/his private parts.. its not appropriate and is unprofessional...

Thank you. It took years before I could see a male doctor again without shaking and crying - and that is still with a female nurse present. I still demand that. It is something I will never get over, but at least now I can tolerate male health professionals without a breakdown.

But I see threads like this one, and the one further down the page and it sickens me. I truly hope the people commenting are fantasizing and not actually reporting on reality. Otherwise I might never seek medical help again.

Heres the thing, humans are naturally curious creatures. To sit there and say that you've never checked out anyone whether at work or outside the work place is a big fat lie. However, with that said, its despicable for someone in the healthcare industry to take advantage of their patient by using their authority. Thats wrong, illegal and downright disgusting. But when you work in healthcare, especially, you see a lot of nudity. Oftentimes its not even warranted. Some patients will just get naked in front of you without being shy. I often say "I've seen more dicks than a prostitute" lol but I digress. Its going to happen, and people will remember certain instances and situations and I don't think theres anything wrong with that. I don't know a single person, whether gay, straight, bi, female or male that wouldn't remember if they saw a 10 inch penis out in the open. It doesn't mean anything, its merely a memory.

With that said, please don't think that healthcare workers just walk into a room and go lift up a patients gown--thats absurd. But nudity just happens. 99.9999% of the time its like "eh, whatever" but every once in a while you see something and you're like "damn" in the back of your head for a second then continue working. Completely innocent and harmless.
