I notice that a lot of license plates have the word "BIG" in them in some way. This always makes me think that the driver is trying to advertise the size of his penis, especially if the word BIG is followed by a number.

For example, in my small town, there is a 20's-something young man driving around with a license plate that says something like BIGUNCUT 8. (Kind of obvious!)

I've also seen plates that say "BIG JOE" and even "BIG D" followed by s number. If there's a D after BIG, that definitely makes me think that the D stands for "dick."

So, do you think these male drivers with BIG in their license plates are trying to tell other drivers something about the size of their manhood? Or am I just overly horny?

i'm quite surprised the dept of motor vehicle let those personalized plates out the door, plus a plate can usually only do 7 or less letters. if you see more than they're fake.

Yeah the first one is either fake or just made up. I guarantee you the "D" in BIGD is the first letter of the driver's name. The car itself is the chick magnet. No further advertisement required.

Yeah, they're over-compensating. It's actually depressing how many guys act like arrogant tossers because they've got no self-esteem.

My personalized plate reads my initials followed by "sBIG1" Yes, it is totally legit... I don't get many comments as the truck they are on is lifted way up. My gf on the other hand, just shakes her head

Most obvious license plate I ever saw was "IB8Long". I have no idea how that one got past the state DMV.

There was some guy on campus when I was in college who had "IFUCTER" on his plate. Not sure he got that one past the DMV. When i bought my 05 Mustang I tried to get "LIKE 69" and they told me it was sexually explicit. I tried to explain to the lady at the DMV that the new 05 Mustang was designed to look like the 1969 model but they wouldn't buy it. LOL

Sounds more like desperation. If you actually have the equipment, you don't usually have to advertise.

California is restrictive when issuing personal license plates.

in the late 1970s sexologist/disk jockey Stan Dale requested SEXSOK and DMV turned it down. He wrote a letter to the governor (I believe it was Jerry Brown) and commented that apparently sex was not OK in California. He got his plates. (I saw the plates on his Chevy VEGA in 1878 so this is not an urban legend.)

only other plate I found amusing was HOTMAN.

Somewhere, I have a blurry pic of a plate that I wanted to post here, but never got around to doing. It's a California plate, westside L.A. and it's:
    BIG PKG

Wonder if he's a member here.

Here in NJ, they didn't allow "WTF" . . . let alone something as flashy as BIGUNCUT8

I'm in CA and was shocked but happy when my "XXSBIG1" went through.
I tried a few others over the years that got shot down...
