I don't have any suggestions above and beyond what's already been put out there, but I do have one which may allow you to get more out of any threads you create in the future. You really don't have to respond to all the off-topic comments that are posted. They happen in all threads on all message boards all over the world. They don't snowball into arguments if you just ignore them. If you know that you haven't faked any pictures, it really doesn't matter if an anonymous stranger disagrees, and if they think you have you won't ever convince them by repeatedly stating "No, I haven't!" Just a tip.
