It's odd, but I seem to expand a little when I'm up there. Must be the food. I may write a paper on it for Nature magazine.

Ditto! My situation is the reverse. I am now living in Chicago for the next two years and I notice that when I have been outdoors for approximately thirty minutes or more there is some, ahem! shrinkage. It seems that just about everything goes into hibernation during the winter.
