I agree, but here's the thing. Ailes and O'Reilly were constantly beating back sexual assault rumors. Compared to them, Hannity is the Pope; not a whiff of sexual scandal.
Wouldn't anyone think that 13 million bucks is a lot of guilt ? (Any price to keep the ratings - which were undoubtedly inflated !!) Good Riddance....now write a book.."Killing O'Reilly " !!

Is it just me , or does it seem to anyone else that no conservative commentator seems to defend Bill with the compassion you would've expected as this news rolled out?

Gotta' say, I've never been put in a situation like the women allegedly describe, but I've been in , observed, and have been told by others of working in an environment where people throw their weight around.

I wouldn't make a such a big deal about this if it were he said, she said/ she just can't take a joke.

But imagine showing up to work everyday where your boss can do sh!t like this, just because he can.

As 2 anchors on CNN that worked with him once at fox pointed out the fact that he would openly have the Archie Bunker mentality going on with his comments.

Kirsten Powers: Ailes Claimed O’Reilly ‘Likes to Put Up Dirty Pictures’ and ‘Ask Pretty Girls…About Them’

Hours after the official announcement of Bill O’Reilly‘s departure from Fox News, a former contributor at the network discussed her experiences with the former Factor host.

Appearing on Anderson Cooper 360 Wednesday, USA Today columnist Kirsten Powers recalled a segment on the show in which she appeared with Fox News’ Margaret Hoover. (Who appeared on CNN an hour earlier to share her own O’Reilly stories.)

“At the end of the segment, [O’Reilly] says ‘Thank you for your blonde-ness’ to both of us,” Powers said.

Powers told Cooper that she demanded an apology from O’Reilly. But she says she was told that wasn’t going to happen. And she also claims that former Fox News boss Roger Ailes defended the Factor host.

“And then Roger said ‘You know, Bill. He likes to put up dirty pictures and ask pretty girls to talk about them,'” Powers said.

Watch above, via CNN.

Of all the potential lead stories ABC, NBC, MSNBC and CNN could have led-off their prime-time news shows with, they went with Bill O'Reilly Is Fired By Fox. That a 67-year-old bag of hot air could top a list of major news events is noteworthy. Yesterday an asteroid nearly a half-mile across whizzed by Earth, missing us by a whisker. A rock that big hitting Cleveland would really put a dent in Terminal Tower. Then there is the short, pudgy guy with the weird haircut and a perpetually maniacal smile in North Korea who always promises us that we've ain't seen nothing yet; one day he'll build a rocket that doesn't blow-up like a 1957 Vanguard at the old Cape Canaveral. But Bill O'Reilly was the lead story.

From the salacious details coming out, he must have been a real entitled S.O.B. on a par with his good buddy Donald Trump. Both of them believe they can grab a handful of any pussy they choose. Yep, Donald can bang her first and Bill O' can take her sloppy seconds. Then they can compare notes on the golf course.

I hope he has a nice retirement.

He's being replaced by Tucker Carlson. It doesn't really change anything.

Except hopefully that Tucker isn't abusive and sexist. That is what we're talking about, right? ;)

I'm all for people being able to say what's on their mind, even when I disagree. I'm not all for people misusing and abusing others.

I'm guessing you haven't seen Tucker.

He's being replaced by Tucker Carlson. It doesn't really change anything.

Tucker Carlson is slightly more liberal on some social issues by virtue of being much younger than his predecessor (he supports gay marriage) ). That said, he is no fighter for minority rights, as no true conservative can be.

But Tucker still is a true blue conservative for the most part. He hates on the poor and loves the rich (don't tax the "poor" rich boys); worries about where someone takes a piss; etc.

Sadly, and very pertinent to the O'Reilly scandal, Tucker has commented that sexual harassment is an invention of the Democratic party. Doesn't seem that Fox is changing its sexist culture. LOL.

Fox FAUX News is an abomination.:oops:

Gotta love those "old school" values they promote, though. I mean, come on, it's Fox & Friends.

Bill likes threesomes with two women. Must not have too much of a problem with lesbian sex, right? He should be supporting gay rights like never before as it gets his dick rock hard. He also likes to fruit fuck women (now that's what I call a "fruity family value").

lol, I've seen him. Never been molested by him though, or heard allegations against him.

He's a pompous ass, and a bit rude ... but that doesn't automatically make him guilty of the things O'Reilly did. Innocent until proven guilty.

He says that sexual harassment is a liberal invention. LOL. Looks like they're changing the sexist culture over there at Faux News.

No doubt it is a toxic workplace, like most media outlets. I'm over hearing other people's agendas, much less paying for them.

If he did indeed say that, then shame on him. That being said, it's not like both conservative and liberal media outlets don't use it as a bashing hammer for the other. I'm so tired of pots calling kettles black.

In that regard Bill Clinton and JFK should be the CEO's.

Unlike O'Reilly they didn't pose as defenders of "family values" evangelicals, and the so-called "moral majority." But hey, keep dredging up old shit to defend these fuckers. About what we'd expect from YOU.

Bill O'Reilly never went into detail on his show. It was just glorified barroom talk presented as fact to a bunch of white working-class folk who can't think their way out of a wet paper bag.

At least Rachel Meadow "explains herself", making a real case for her beliefs.. Sure, there is very strong liberal bias, but that isn't the point.

I so want Bill to teach me old school values.

Lesson one: How to grab pussy and get away with it.

Well. if you're white, male, rich, heterosexual and ..... Christian.... you will pull it off with no chance of getting her off

.Lesson 2: How to jack off on the phone to a woman without getting audio recorded.

O'Reilly's audience was old and dying off, anyway. A few years back, when he took a viewer poll of the worst TV shows of all time, the winner was My Mother the Car.

"Huh?" you say. Exactly.
I loved My Mother the Car.
