Racial fetishization is harmful because it reduces people to stereotypes based on their race, rather than seeing them as individuals. It objectifies and dehumanizes, reinforces racism and biases, harms mental health, and has roots in colonialism. Instead of making assumptions based on race, we should respect and value people for who they truly are.
