Personally, I think the thing is, that assumptions are too great sometimes when they're not true. Okay, I'll admit it, I'm hung, I'm eight and a half max and I want to give the woman of my life a whole lot of pleasure, but I do have to disagree with Prepky for example.

I'm a grower, I get significantly bigger, when aroused, and I don't see what the "big deal" is with it. I'm a person, I have feelings and I bleed as easily as anything else, maybe we're bigger, maybe we're not, but unless someone's sampled a large black population (say one of the African Nations for example), then what can we (as in LPSG-ers) say?

But I suppose, ultimately, I wont complain!

I'm thinking, from another point of view, let's say there's..say, LPSG Jamaica, would they have a thread saying "White guys have small dicks, why?" Personally, don't care about the answer, more along the idea that "white" people are the norm and that people of colour deviate from the norm.

Black 10's probably just pissed off, but aint no reason to cuss, you're all interested, that's the point of this place. Excellent!

In my experiences, the black guys I've seen have had bigger than the majority of white guys. Not a huge difference (it seems like black guys "average" equals a white guy who is on the bigger end of the average scale)
When you get down to it, I know it doesn't really matter, cuz there are big and small in all races. It just depends on what you've been given.

If only Western society (at least) was as matter-of-fact and indifferent toward differences through its history...

You've got to understand. For an immensely long time, biological differences among the races helped support biased "scientific" research, and lead, fallaciously, to arguments that supported notions like innate superiority. Thinking like this has had a long and perilous history between whites and many other races. Colonials came to North American soil, though already in full possession and rights-to-ownership to the Native Americans, and simply because their own political decrees maintained as such, manifest destiny really ousted the "originals" of our nation. They kept pushing them back, back, back, and away from precious resources, not to mention utterly disrupted their way of life.

Biased scientific research for a long time supported innate intelligence among the races, especially considering that dreadful Bell Curve. Testing "proved" this, even though the experience was later discredited and disowned for its perpetuation of racial bias of the time. Even now, it's still a pressing issue to insist that all high school students are highly educated in math, science, and the humanities, when school fundings and establishments (especially in inner cities) by no means have the funding of our more stable schools. It would be hard for an inner-city youth regardless of color to know algebraic expressions to memory if his textbooks are already severely outdated, or if the school can't keep competent and nurturing staff to teach. Is that not so?

If it were only as casual an observation as, say, skin color, hair texture, or presupposed "average" dick size, then that's one thing. Those features hardly discredit anyone. Now, when we start valuing -- I don't know -- paler shades and blonde hair and when society perpetuates acceptable standards as tailored by WASP men... that's something totally different.

Race has such an unbearably powerful context that's always in question.

My favorite was Rushton's Race, Evolution, and Behavior. The old "brain size" argument, with a corollary for penis size.

I divide most racial beliefs into two types: Morton's Fallacy and Broca's Fallacy. The first involves biased samples. It's named after Samuel George Morton, who focused on the size of Peruvian women's skulls versus northern European men's. This exploited the well-known fact that bigger people have bigger parts. The second is Broca's Fallacy. Humans have a low brachial index (ratio of radius/humerus) for primates. Blacks have a higher brachial index than whites. But Hottentots have a lower brachial index, as do Australian aboriginals and Eskimos. For the latter three, it's irrelevant, but for blacks, it's supremely important. (Broca had special fun with the cephalic index and brain weight: Circumpolar peoples have larger brains, 1.5 kg for Buryats, almost 1.6 for Eskimos and Mongols. Similarly, Eskimos, North and South American Indians, Africans, and Austronesians are all more dolichocephalic [long-headed] than whites, while Orientals and Central American Indians are more brachycephalic [round-headed]. Broca developed an argument where dolichocephaly was good for whites and bad for everyone else, with brachycephaly being in-between for both races.)

Pretty much all racist pseudoscience uses those two fallacies, along with reifying correlations (such as Spearman's g).

Ths pressures to live up to societies expectations. As a man of color, I do at times feel everyone is looking at you to see if the myth is true, especially my white friends, male or female. White men at times I feel are more treatened by the notion that black men "could be larger". As a man larger than most, I've had my white friends comment (sometimes at inopportune times) about my size. Don't get me wrong, I am proud of my manhood, but it is sometimes overwhelming the obsession some people have with the expectations. I have even had women approach me or even try to seduce me just to see if its true. They have no interest in getting to know you as a person, just to satisfy their sexual trophy chart. Now I know what a big breated woman can feel. You may say I should enjoy the attention, but I guess at my mid 40's, I'm tired of all the comments and living up to the expectations. I am more than my dick. There is a human being with feelings attached to it too!. I guess I also felt different during my younger years, but now I'm over it!!!

Well, Phillippe Rushton said that he specifically dealt with averages, because variation within the races would obfuscate his heirarchy. (In fact, he specifically dealt with northern European, western African, and Chinese averages for just this reason: Japan's dirty picture book capital of the world, and the Ashanti are quite reserved. Even in China, he chose PRC behavior [i.e., one child per family], rather than pre-Mao behavior [i.e., six children per family].)

Another claim I like - I can't remember which racist asshole said it - is that blacks are more masculine and Orientals, more feminine. Yeah, 36DD is "small" in Kyoto.

HUMONGOUS: i do not think that black men have the monopoly on "largest dicks". there are equally hung "latinos" and "caucasians". at the gym i belong to there are several white guys there whom i have seen in the shower and they were at least 6-9 inches soft while the black men in the shower wer of average flaccid size. while i tend to have a penis that is larger than most and i happen to b black does not mean that black men have the monopoly on "largest dicks" we all know, or have seen black men who are smaller than average and at best aveage.

The DNA structure of human are so closely identical for the most part, that any of the races can except any body part for donor organs. The blacks that were brought to america were the strongest and were brought for one purpose for slavery. After that much of the black woman were impregnated by their master, and if the babys could pass for being white were treated as such. Thru random testing of those that claim to be white most in fact were found to have african ancestry DNA in them. If your ancestor came from the south and you look white, better guess again chances are you could be a mix.

Whats really funny is how strongly the black hype is about the dick. I had a black workout partner and he was shorter then me and had a skinnier dick then me, but not a big one that I could see. It was the only time I really check out his dick. Even I was curious of the black hype, and he caught me and laugh. Anyway, we went grocery shopping together after a month or so lator and the female checker stared right at his crotch and started to flirt with him and commenting about the size of his dick.

After we left the store we exchange look and I mutter at him, dont I have a bigger dick than you, so why was she assuming you had a big dick?

Anyway, it made me wonder what do black guy do if he has a girlfriend that expected a bigger package than he really is? Talk about pressure!
