Please, let's be friends..I'm sorry I hurt you feelings..but this thread ain't about our feelings..
Just tell me what you think about BLM and race..

Black lives matter, period. That statement doesn't need any qualification.
It doesn't need the larger statement 'all lives matter', or 'blue lives (I guess that means cops) matter'.

The statement 'black lives matter' does not need the adverb 'also' or 'too' at the end of the sentence.

Black lives matter is NOT a political statement, it is a statement that black people have innate value, worth, and dignity, not to be understood in terms of crime, poverty, rates of incarceration, education or income. I am not talking about the BLM political movement.

Race is commonly associated with the notion of physically heredible characteristics, which science now seems to see as adaptive traits and not the result of different genetic origins. I don't give a damn about race or how others see race, even though it's used as a social marker. I don't say that Black Studies, for example, isn't a valid discipline--it is because human culture has made it so.

Ethnicity is more of a matter of shared culture, like a religion, a language, shared customs, national or geographic origin and so on. Like races, ethnic groups have been the basis of discrimination.

I am well aware of the mistaken notions that people of one race or ethnicity have historically had of another. I have no patience for it.

Someone show me one good reason why it's wrong to say black lives matter.

What you asked for in 243 I have provided in 246. Explaining what is wrong with 234 is probably of no interest to the readers and contributors of the thread. I doubt that if I took the time to tell you what's wrong with 234, you'd dismiss it out of hand. so why bother? You're only interested in salving a wounded ego.

Just a question: so how exactly did you arrive at your statement 'Race does not exist'?
I am inclined to infer you're being sarcastic. Please clarify.
Because skin color is a product the amount of melanin in the skin which is derived from the amount if UV rays from the sun..I.e. If one's ancestry derived from areas where it is more sunny than cloudy, their skin tone is darker and visa versa..different blood types came from mutations in the gene that makes blood

Conversely..What makes you believe in different so-called races?

The question was for Jjz1109, not you.

Skin colour had nothing to do whether the human species lived or died. if it did, then why are the colours still here?

What a bunch of dicks.

Skin color is the result of how much melanin is inside the gene responsible for skin. It is an evolutionary adaptation for survival based on amount of UV rays from the sun the body receives,
The colors are still here because they are inherently passed on through DNA during reproduction.

So, how the hell did you have control over what colour you were born with? You are the typical after the fact person. If you are so wise and all powerful, tell me before the fact.

You do not posses any special or predictive powers I am aware of. You rely on science to derive your opinion.

If science were to exist from the very first day. Predict the next day, or the day after, or the day after that. Oh wait, how can prediction (theory) come about without practical or physical history?
