It's never racism when white people are involved and because they are in the majority in western culture.
It's such a shame people actually think racism is more offensive then other forms of intimdiation, bullying and violence.
Excellent observation Frizzle. There are worse attrocities out there and we are all still kind of stuck beating this dead horse. If the people perpetuating the racism would stop to look around, they might finally say "DAMN! I thought racism was bad? I'm an idiot!" I also realize we stand about as much chance of that happening as the moon being made of green cheese.
the past is the PAST !!! this is the 21'st century. ALL cultures have racists, and ANYBODY that has race issues has a SERIOUS inferiority complex, and needs to "grow up"!!!
red, yellow, black, and white..., they are ALL precious in "HIS" sight...,!!!
i am white, but if i bought a bar-b-que resturant on martin luther king blvd, {any city}, i would hire blacks..., does that make me a racist ??? do i HAVE to hire a "token" white person ???
NAACP, BET {tv}, black history month {february}, united negro college funds..., where does it end ???
blacks have all these groups/associations..., WHY ???
if whites wanted NAAWP, WET, white history month, united white college funds..., we would be considered RACISTS...,!!!
i have a black friend, who is married to a white woman, that has gone through "hell", {here in the south}, but he deals with it...,. he does not whine and cry and boo-hoo, because of STUPID society's "norms" !!!
his favorite joke is:
what did abraham lincoln say after a 3 day drunk...,???
i freed WHO ???
GROW UP PEOPLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we are ALL EQUAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly right. We ARE all equal, it's just that certain pinheads miss that fact.
Love that Lincoln joke. Can I steal it?
oprah winfrey grew up in the "projects" in nashville, and every time i pass through the I-440 loop, and say to myself..., {that is where oprah winfrey grew up}.
look at her TODAY !!!
hard work and determination pays off..., instead of BOO-HOO !!!
And she never once whined about where she came from or really rarely, if ever, plays the race card. My mother got us out of the ghetto and made a success and she came from dirt poor farmers. She told us this:
"You can achieve anything you want and no one can stop you as long as you keep your eyes on that goal."
Anyone who ran track, especially the relay should know the first thing your coach would tell you:
"Don't look at the other runners. Focus on the finish line and don't look to your sides."
If people had that same view about racism, it would be a non-issue.
