This brings up a question I’ve had, in studio porn there are rules (maybe laws?) if not expectations for clearance and screening of a performers health status before filming. Is OF just completely the Wild West in that situation? Are there guidelines, expectations, registration or whatever concerning this? I would think that for people who have worked professionally in porn going this route might be more likely to adhere to it, but what’s going on with independent entrepreneurs who are jumping into OF or camming with partners? Is it discussed, ignored, expected, followed through with? I don’t even know if when you get tested for STD if there’s a real name on it, in the first decades of things like HIV it was done with numbers to protect anonymity, so it’s not even like you would have a paper with your name verifying your status.

idk how clinics work in america, but at least in portugal you do have your real info attached to the results. because it's all connected through the national health service and the clinic will request your id and other info to make a file on you the first time you go there. most people get bloodwork done by requesting their doctor to prescribe the tests anyway, so that's already associated with all your info. and i'm going to assume other countries in europe are a similar situation. but again, we have a very different health system than america

afaik onlyfans doesn't enforce anything on their users. at the end of the day, it's no different than pornhub or xvideos. the site isn't responsible for the users' status. the users are responsible to get their tests done and make sure the people they do scenes with are in the clear. since it's amateur porn, the site isn't held accountable if the performers catch something from someone they did a scene with. because onlyfans is just a site for things to get uploaded, it doesn't even have to be porn. so a performer getting a std from someone they filmed with isn't onlyfans' responsibility. onlyfans can take action if news comes out some performer was pozzing people without their knowledge and with the intent of doing it, likely by terminating their account. but other than that, they don't seem to get involved with anything. they don't even seem to take action with scammers.
