I've noticed in the last couple of years that around 2 out of every 5 women I have intercourse with bleed during intercourse at some point or another. They don't bleed every time, nor does it seem to be related to if they are either on, getting ready to start, or just finished her period. It does seem to happen slightly more often during certain positions.

Have other men had similar experiences?

To the women, what has caused you to bleed during sex?

Is there any thing I'm doing 'wrong' that might be causing this?

In certain positions, your penis may be rubbing a woman in a way that causes tears. This is especially important if you are vigorous with your partners.

Also, these women may not be lubricated enough and the friction could be causing a slight tear. Make sure they are well lubricated and avoid the positions that cause bleeding.

It has happened to a few of my partners. One ex was concerned enough to visit her ob-gyn. The doc told her to find a smaller dick. A couple months later she did, and I was glad she did.

Most of my girlfriends have bled at one time or the other, sometimes causing some concern. My current GF bleeds a little bit quite often. We call it "tearing her a new one". Its worse if we haven't done it in a week or two, or if she isn't lubed up at the start. She never complains of course ;)

P.S. We are talking about tearing her a new vagina, not an asshole.

Imagine being a virgin and she bleed, not quite understanding why. It was pretty scary. I thought over a week of what I did wrong. A size of a penis can have an affect on that and as someone said the position can take an affect. I guess it's how hard it can be hit. and a certain place in the vagina might be prone to that. But when almost every girl I've been with bleeds at one point or another, usually during the first time it kind of gets at me. And lube can be counter productive, as when a girl is too wet she feels less. I'm large in girth, but I can't imagine those girls in porn that deal with those monstercocks. That's some serious business there.

My ex used to make me bleed sometimes during certain positions. I don't know how thick he was, but he was a hair over 9 inches. He told me that he'd made all his ex's bleed at some point or another. I did notice that when it did happen though, it was usually when I was ovulating. Perhaps it was because my cervix was more open during that time? I'm not sure. It can definitely be disturbing, though.

ive noticed that too. the first time it kinda freaked me out, but i just learned to slow down, be gentle, and watch the position (depending on the girl).

Spotting or a little streaked blood in the cervical fluid during ovulation is not unusual at all.

are any of the hemorrhagic women on hormonal birth control? or maybe an IUD?

HBC can cause a few conditions that might cause more frequent vaginal bleeding.. thinner vaginal tissue.. reduced natural lubrication... and lower arousal response.

also some of the low dose HBC can cause break through bleeding at any point during her cycle.

IUDs can shift and allow for bleeding.. or the lil wirey pokey bit can cause small tears in the surrounding tissue.

or you're just rubbish in bed.

i don't understand the dick of death band wagon some men are so eager to jump on.

Most of these stories imply vaginal tearing, but there's a few things off about them.

Unless a woman is into masochism or has a very serious large penis fetish, I think a lot of women would react by getting pissed off, and almost all of them would refuse to have sex for a week or two until it healed, if they ever have sex with you again.

I'm surprised by the lack of tales of infections caused by tearing and the accompanying pain of walking around or sitting down with a vaginal tear.

I am a little disturbed by some of the cold-hearted attitudes displayed here, the lack of concern or empathy about causing something that can really hurt very badly for a long time. To correct this inequity, every time a woman you have had sex with gets a tear, why don't you let your girlfriend give you a little cut on your penis with a knife on the underside of your penis just above your balls so that it gets rubbed a lot while you walk around and it hurts when you sit down? They would both probably take the same amount of time to heal.

I am not being serious of course. I'm just making a point.

Vaginal wounds are painful. If your penis caused me that pain, it's not coming near me again until it's healed. If you show no remorse, I'm never talking to again.

A vagina is designed to stretch to accommodate the birth of a child... If you are giving her proper foreplay and not trying to shove your arm up inside her, she can handle almost any penile girth (length is obviously a problem since the vaginal cavity goes a set depth). Just watch some of the porn out there and you will see fisting and multiple object insertions with no "damage" to the vagina. If your female partner is suffering from bleeding, then urge her to seek out medical attention to determine if there isn't a gynecological problem. Yes, vagina's do tear and this is a part of life, but if she bleeds during intercourse, then this can lead to more problems... Like infections or easier STD transmission. It might be a ego boost to tear her hole, but if you are doing it, you may be too rough or proceeding to quickly.

When they fail to tell how the woman reacted in any of their "true stories" when I guarantee she would have a memorable reaction worth mentioning, then the stories are fake. That's what I meant by "something off." Not a semblence of truth in any of these tales. Not the men's reactions, not the women's reactions, not the physical result of such an injury, or the fallout over what happened. None of these "first hand" experiences sound remotely like the truth.

And getting an ego boost from vaginal tears is disgusting and sick. I rarely express strong sentiments like that on this site, but that's just wrong.

the girl that used to bleed with me wouldnt even notice it until afterwards. there was no screaming in pain fountain of blood à la Kill Bill.

True, and this happens. The pleasure can make it unnoticable or much less painful during the actual sex. What also happens is that overnight it becomes hugely swollen and infected and when she gets up and walks to the bathroom, it hurts! Then she goes to pee and it REALLY HURTS! And then she'll say something to you. And when you want to have sex the next day she says, "No way!" and you would hear about it, because she'd tell you.

That's the part that's absent in these tales. The fallout. Her reaction. The freakout that he broke her vagina. His compassion and guilt. The days or weeks of recovery. The realistic advice on preventing this problem or how to handle the aftermath, such as caring for an intimate wound and what you should say to her.

this has happened to me a number of times, usually the first one or two times i have sex with a girl. and in some cases where we haven't been able to sleep together in a while (one of us went on vacation, we lived in separate cities, etc.), then occasionally the first time we got together again there would be some. most times, neither of us noticed until well into it when one of us would look down. sometimes there would just be spotting...in a couple of cases, it looked like someone might have been murdered. the first few times it really freaked me out, and i still feel slightly apologetic. but they've never complained of pain at the time and insisted we keep going. there have been some complaints of soreness the next day, but that seems to be the case with or without blood. and in most cases within a day or two (and after washing the sheets thoroughly, lol), they're usually ready and eager to go again. so, i don't know...maybe all of us just lucked out or something. lol. in the case of one of my college exes, after our first night together (with some bleeding), she told me the next day that she was sore...but the only thing she thought would make it feel better was doing it again. she later told me it helped DURING, but she felt just as sore after.

I think the question is where is the bleeding coming from? Pounding my cervix hurts, but a gentle rubbing doesn't and can produce some blood.

Any kind of tears at the opening though I notice quickly and usually mean intercourse has come to an end for me. These don't seem to produce as much blood.

I'm skeptical of the OP and the posters on the first page. She'd tell him if she tore her vagina. He'd know where she was injured. Why would he be asking us this question, when they're the only ones there in bed? If it's happened sooo many times, shouldn't he have asked the poor injured woman at some point?

This is a sicko boasting thread full of made up stories. It's disgusting.

I had a partner who wasn't particularly big but used to last too long. At the start of our relationship he wanted sex six times a day. My lubrication quickly dried out and I ended up with nasty friction sores which I showed him. He acted a little guilty but next day when I wanted a break from sex to heal he got angry and claimed I didn't love him.

My ex used to bleed a small amount during or after sex - usually if we'd been using a certain position where I would go all the way in and nudge her cervix.
She always used to get a bit embarrassed about it (I told her it was fine even though I barely understood what was happening), but she never asked me to stop.
I'm glad to hear it does happen to other guys, I've never really discussed it with anyone. I thought maybe it was just something that happens to some people more than others, like a nosebleed.
