Hi guys,

I am relatively new to PE. After my last session of interval stretching, I noticed that I had a small blister on my tip.
I know that one should not pop it to avoid infection.
But what does it mean for my training tomorrow?
Should I skip it?
Should I wait till it is completely gone, which can last for days.

What can I do to avoid blister in the future?

Wait till it’s completely gon. Otherwise, you will most likely just make it worse or delay its healing. I used to get a blister occasionally if I pumped too long or with even a little too much pressure. Now I add some water to my cylinder, enough to cover the head after I start expanding in the tube. The water allows me to grow more evenly and I haven’t had a blister with water in the tube.

Are you saying that if you put water in the pump when you pump, that will eliminate blisters?

If it’s enough to cover the whole shaft and head, I won’t get a blister. Your mileage may vary as they say.
