Blogger Coding Help!

I know this is a bit of a long shot as this isn't a coding forum, but I need help with the coding of my Blogger page.
I would sign up to a coding support page, but as my site is about male celebrity GIFs I don't feel comfortable displaying my code or page to possible bigots and the like. As this is my safe space, I thought I'd take the chance and ask here.

The problem I'm having is that I can't enable Breadcrumbs on posts in my current theme, one of the default Blogger templates called 'Soho'. I know I could change templates, but I've spent so long customising Soho that it would take me days to get any other theme to the way I would like it. I also haven't found any other theme that displays posts in the way Soho does.

Whatever code I try, either nothing shows up or it breaks the site entirely.

The most promising article I've found is this one: Add Latest Version of Schema Breadcrumbs Markup in New Blogger Themes - but this still doesn't work.

My Blogger/Blogspot page is: Male Celebrity GIFs.

Please feel free to have a nosey in the code if you feel you might be able to help!

It would help if you could tell more about whether you're using an existing software package or something you totally developed from scratch, what language it is written in etc. I'm not a web developer, but, that kind of stuff is helpful in general.

I was aiming my query at those with experience in Blogger. That information is superfluous as Blogger is one ecosystem, with differences mainly stemming from template implementation.
