Blue Pants

So I bought some blue pants that I saw in GQ from gap but I don't know what kind of shirt to wear with it I was thinking gray or light faded pastel blue any suggestions

You're right on with your thinking re. gray/light faded pasel blue. Of course white would be dressy. Depenging on the shade of blue, some shades of green might be attractive. Have fun.

What color blue? Navy?Cyan? Indigo? Much depends on the actual color and what type of pants they are, dressy or casual. I myself and very fond of navy blue paired with stark white for more nautical look. I also love mixing navy blue with pink. Indigo looks great with grey; if you are feeling really frisky it also looks good with orange. Cyan looks great with yellow. The best advice I could possibly give you is put them on with a variety of different things and see what suits you best.

The pants are admiral blue, and I have been thinking orange or grey or pastel blue or maybe even purple like violet
