I live in the Providence, Rhode Island area which is very close to where this took place so I saw the report on the evening news.

It is absolutely unbelievable that no one noticed the dead body in the pool. Also I can only imagine the horror the people that were swimming in the pool must feel, yuck!

i don't understand how anyone would not notice a dead body in a pool within a two day period, very hard to believe , how can someone not notice that.and as for the the boy telling the lifeguards that the woman who was in the pool did not come up for air? they should have tended this boys concern instead of blowing him off, maybe her death would've been prevented. just my two cents

I agree, I had the same thought regarding how reportedly the lifeguards ignored the child when he brought it to their attention.

There are a lot of holes on this story.

She was there watching here 9yo neighbor's kid. He reported it to the lifeguards. How did he get home?
The women has five kids of her own. What happened for those two days at her house?
Never mind the lifeguards. How did the other people swimming there not notice a dead body?

True, none of that information has come out in the news yet, they are investigating it so maybe more of the story will become available.

"The Bristol County DA would not confirm if the womanÂ’s body was in the water for two days, but did call the set of circumstances "unbelievable" and said the death is still under investigation."

A lot of us are wondering and somewhat unbelieving too.

Will be interesting to see what comes out in the next few days.

Was the kid's head stuck in the filter at the bottom of the pool?
