Let me set the record straight regarding a few truth's and a few myth's, most specifically regarding anabolic/androgenic hormones:

5) Steroids are addicting....MTYH!: Though a user may feel psychologically addicted to using these drugs, there is no form of withdrawl from a physical standpoint. If you look at the federally controlled substances, steroids are practically in a category of their own...ie they have the potential to be abused, yet they do not cause the same craving or withdrawl as say...heroin.

OmahaBeef speaks the truth. :biggrin1: (awesome post.) I would like to add one point of clarification on point 5:

Although steriods are not "physically" addicting, there is an indirect form of physical addiction that results when external testosterone is withdrawn. During the post cycle period, the body is struggling to turn on the natural production of testosterone. The recovery period can be very (very) painful, and both bodybuilders and those on hormone replacement therapy (HRT) who unfortunately were told by their doctors that they had to stop therapy (due to any number of health reasons) sometimes find that they have to go on another cycle to deal with the situation. In the case of bodybuilders, they are smart enough to use HCG and clomid during the post recovery period to minimize the effects. Unfortunately, HRT patients are guided by clueless doctors, doctors who in general do not know anything about HCG or clomid. The bottom line is that these patients suffer both the physical and psychological effects of being in near-zero hormone state. (Those in the medical profession who inflict pain should be castrated...)

By the way OmahoBeef, what dose and type of T (cypionate, etc) are you taking? Also, you mentioned that you are taking it every 2 weeeks. Is there any reason why you would not take it on a weekly basis (divide the bi-weekly dose in half)?

Poor lil feller. Send me his name and address. I'll send him a sympathy card.

Actually, I know some guys like you and a whole lot of big men with average to small. It's all in the genes, and briefs too. ;)

I know what you mean. Almost all the big hot guys have average to small cocks. Actually, maybe a lot of them have "average" size cock but average looks small on them and small cock looks tiny. :(

This OmahaBeef guy is extremely hot. Too bad he is 100% straight.. ugh. I hope he doesn't get offended.

If OmahaBeef was easily offended, he'd have departed a long time ago.

I don't like stereotypes period. Tall skinny guys who talk funny aren't necessarily fems, fat gay guys with big butts aren't always bottoms, muscle guys with small packages aren't always tops (ooo i love that part). Peeps just need to get to know and love somebody for themselves. Stereotyping causes too much pain and harm.

I think the stereotype comes from they way their cocks look in those small ass bikinis they wear on stage. People forget that no matter how big your cock is it is going to shrivel up when you are about to go onstage and compete.

im not sure if its in tehre bc i only skimmed omahas post.....but steroids ARE linked to hepatic cysts which can rupture. Also, the kidney damage everyone talks about is not necessarily kidney damage, its adrenal gland damage. The adrenals sit right on top of your kidney and produce hormones, including testosterone. Flooding your body unregulated with testosterone is bound to cause damage to the adrenals and when you stop the testosterone the adrenals are in shock and can very easily atrophy

I usually don't like stereotypes but I get so turned on when I see a non-stereotypical bear/chubby/stocky guy like Omaha with a big cock.

Stereotypes still hold some truth or else people won't believe them. I just don't think people have enough time to "study" everyone they meet. It's sad but reality...

I just think penis looks smaller on bodybuilder because of their big muscle. Just like a 7" cock on a skinny asian looks big.

I would have to go ahead and say the pain is purely psychological...if at all. Depression is COMMON but a normal male's hormones will recover fast enough before any depression becomes chronic. Hypogonadal men however...KNOW what depression is! Guys go on and come off all the time but there arent any I know of that think of it as anything more than ("damn...it would be nice to still be ON cycle") but thats the extent of it. There is no acute physical withdrawl. If there were, there would be bodybuilders robbing gas stations to "get their fix" and this just isnt the case

I am on 400mg of testosterone enanthate every 14 days. There is really no difference between the enanthate and the cypionate ester, so its not really too big of a deal. I WANT to take it on a weekly basis, but my insurance provider insists that I come into the doctors office for my shots. I will be getting new insurance soon so, hopefully they or my doctor would allow me to go ahead and do it at home. Ideally I would take 200mg per week of TE or TC and call it a day. But hey...this IS the medical field we are talking about:rolleyes:

I love bodybuilders too! (Though I don't really prefer them over any other handsome man, muscles or not.) But yes I'm pretty sure bodybuilders have small dicks. Maybe not all, but definitely most (most of the ones I've seen!)

I only ever saw one bodybuilder's dick in person. I went with my boyfriend to his brother's bodybuilding competition. We were backstage helping him to prepare, and then went into the mens room to pee. While there, a huge muscled Asian guy came running in. He obviously needed to take a leak really bad and was barely able to hold it in. Finally a urinal opened up and we let the Asian bodybuilder go first. Before he even got to the urinal, he whipped his dick out of his pants in front of everyone, then walked up to take a piss! My boyfriend and I got a good eyeful of the guy's manhood. It was really small. We both giggled accidentally, but he didn't seem to notice.

Then we each got the urinals on either side of him and we both just stared down at his tiny nob and jelly-bean sized testicles and tried not to laugh too loudly, but we did! He noticed that! He kept looking back and forth at us both and then down at his almost not-existing penis. Then my boyfriend said to me something like, "I guess it's true what they say about bodybuilders!", then made a pinching gesture with his thumb and forefinger, indicating smallness, and nodded at me but in the direction of the Asian bodybuilder!

At first, the guy just grimaced, gave an uncomfortable chuckle and looked up at the ceiling. But then he got pissed and asked us why we were looking at his dick and called us "faggots" and said he would kick our asses!

My boyfriend and I hurried up and got the hell outta there! We tried to avoid him for the rest of the night. We didn't mean to be assholes or anything, we were just having a little innocent fun.

He was the only bodybuilder I ever saw in person. And like I said, his dick was really small! I've seen plenty of nude bodybuilders in porn, and most of them are about average-sized. It would really seem like they are compensating for something, if ya know what I mean... (Trade dick size for muscle size! But I could most definitely be wrong.) So generally, yes I would have to say bodybuilders do have small dicks.

I was feeling a little depressed and sought out a TRT doc which tested my levels and I had 510 ngs. He gave me HCG for 3 times a week 350 i.u.
It has helped with higher mood e.t.c.

That is known as the bodybuilder's optical illusion. The law of diminishing returns.

Hahah, great comment! So by "diminishing returns" are you saying that having huge muscles is not worth the small dick? Just wondering.

This question is mainly for those marvelously muscle-bound hunks on this site--or people who know them intimately.

I've heard that most really muscular bodybuilder-types have rather small penises--sometime very small. Do you guys agree?

In fact, rumor has it that that is why some men take up bodybuilding--to compensate for their small penile packages. They apparently want to "enlarge" their other muscles so that people won't notice the rather small size of their muscle between their legs.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to put down bodybuilders. I LOVE them! Love to see them working out those nice biceps and pecs and delts at my gym. However, it's true: in my experience, I have not encountered one who was well endowed in the penis area.

Someone out there--please prove me wrong!! Thanks!

In Summary NO.

Bodybuilding.

To bodybuild you firstly have to work out, this means studying and researching the best methods and exercises to make muscle and burn fat. Sounds easy but these methods have to be applied in such a way that they work effectively, which is not so easy. It is practise that takes years to achieve as every human body is different therefore that person needs years to discover what worked for him/her.

Then comes nutrition, force feeding from 3 meals a day to between 6 and 8 to keep the body in an anabolic state or repair. Again a practice that takes years to learn, and hours of research and trial and error.

Both the above have to be learnt for two phases bulking and cutting for competition, which requires two very different work out methods and a very very different diets. So again more research, more practise and more hard work

Bodybuilders bodybuild because they want to have the biggest and best body in the world. Funny enough it’s not for other people it’s for him/herself. It’s about being the best. Dieting for a competition where you have so little water in your body that it hurts to walk and is near to death takes commitment on another level.

Bodybuilders do their sport because they love it like any other player loves thier sport. It has no relation to sex what so ever.

NOW there may be people who work out and train so they look good to
substitute for there penis. However, and I must stress that these people are not bodybuilders. It takes a lot more then a small penis to bodybuild.

Thanks for reading.
