Bodybuilding.com

The product/supplement info and selection are pretty ok. There are better sites to order stuff from, though. (Allstarhealth.com & suppz.com are cheap with low shipping costs.).

When you get into the site's forums, however,....THAT'S where the site totally turns to shit.
The amount of bad info you get there is second to none.
Liars, misinformed, uninformed, chloroformed, know-nothings passing themselves off as know-it-alls..
It's a goddamn joke now...which is unfortunate, because it started as such a great idea.
I have a profile on there...But, it's been a very long time since I wandered back into all that idiocy.
To put it into perspective...even though the "health & fitness" forum here is pretty new, the information there is ten times more accurate and useful than the brain-damaged landfill known as bodybuilding.com

I use it but on the bodyspace portion. The people there are far better than the ones in the forum. Mainly using it to track workouts and weight loss. The non human related aspects are good for me on the main site. I've been warned off about advice from the broscience guys.

Checked your album..wow...very impressive build.

Bodyspace is pretty good you tell it what your looking for weight loss. Buildinging muscle. Transformation.., then provides you options and trackable workouts.. Load it on your phone via app and use at the gym., keeps your previous workouts to show your gains. Give it a try

I cant stand the forums on it. That's why I didn't mention them earlier. I actually just recently looked through them and was just laughing at some of the advice the "bros" were trying to give.

I find the bodyspace portion of the site great motivation. It also holds me accountable for my workouts because I have friends on there, though i have never met them, that follow and help with motivation if I start to slack off too much.

Yeah, that's primarily what I use the bodyspace for. I read other's posts about what they're doing and seeing how I can apply it to what I'm doing, if at all. Actually there now looking at changing up routine. Had to take a bit of a hiatus from the gym

I've been on BodySpace for years and it was a huge help for me to stay motivated and get support to finally get fit. I stay well away from the forums there ... I've roamed around a little in them and like everyone here who has already commented on them, those forums are a quagmire of outright crap. I use the site just for BodySpace and have a nice group of friends with similar goals and we all encourage and support each other.

ive used the site before. takes a while to ship to canada tho

To put it bluntly, a lot of people filled with meanness, post on there.

I've used the site before and you'll encounter many people who know their stuff but also far too many idiots and meat-heads. As a whole I hate their community plus, their mentality about openly commenting and complimenting each other's bodies yet literally have to say "no homo" when talking about "gay" (not actually gay) topics is hilariously hypocritical.

Yeah that's the one thing that gets me too. Interestingly I find many who post are very conservative and on the right. On the contrary on LPSG more are on the left. Bodybuilder types surprises me at how close minded that group of people, over 35 I should say, are.

The people on the bodybuilding.com forums are not exactly bodybuilders; they're more like wannabe punks who go to the gym. I've found most true bodybuilders to be quite friendly and polite.
