No I'm not going to change my sex, but I'm about to give my wife as a birthday gift a Boob job. (next November) She is very desperate to get them done, I'm a bit scared cause like 5 years ago a friend of mine did that and her wife got this huge infection and in just a couple of months she died. I know things have change since then but I always remember that.
I was planning to go to NY or FL get them done, I wonder if any lady here can give me some inputs.
Thanks
My wife will appreciate it also

Does your wife want them. or is it something you want.

If you think she's fine without them convince her that you love her the way she is.
You wouldnt marry her is you didnt love her...would you?

Any foreign substance introduced into the body is considered an invader by the auto-immune system. Peeps sometimes develop autoimmune diseases from implants. Make sure she absolutely wants them, and have her talk to her doctor about possible side affects.

Not entirely. There are materials that don't (steel for one). There are risks with any surgery, but as long as it's a good doctor and she does good post-op care, then things should be fine. Shop around for this. Get before and after photos from any doctor you're considering. Don't go too large or they will look horrible.

You suggesting she get steel breast implants? She'll attract lightening.

My advice is not do it....to be happy with who you are and what you have. I don't agree with plastic surgery for any other reason that what it was originally intended for... reconstruction. There are just too many things that can go wrong with an elective surgery like this. Capsular contracture happens with most breast implants along with leakage every single implant material leaks or seeps to a certain extent whether its saline or silicone going into your body its something and usually when one breaks its not noticeable for a while. They have to be replaced like every 5 years or so so its a big financial obligation. Just some things to think about. And just my opinion. Big boobs aren't all they're cracked up to be lol

Things can go wrong, so it's important to know if it's worth it. For some, it's the confidence. But if it is worth it, it's about knowledge. Implants are becoming sturdier and safer, but leaks are a problem. The other problem is the look. It might not look right or feel right, then it was all a mistake. Unless it's effecting her life, it might not be worth it. I've had reconstructive surgery, and it takes a long time to heal, and there are scars, and things do happen.

Research your doctor very carefully. Get recommendations, make sure he is licensed, make sure your wife is comfortable with him. Also, there are a lot of options to consider- there are several areas the implant can be put in from, placement, shape etc.

I know what you mean Lee_M, but I have to throw my might behind the 'don't do it' lobby.

We live in an age where we're bombarded by pictures of 'perfect' men and women, and those of us who are a little insecure, and let's face it that's most of us, can easily start fancying a nip here or a tuck there. By all means look at the before and after pics on a surgeon's website, but c'mon, those will be selected from the best of his results. Or do you think they might have been borrowed from elsewhere, or photoshopped to look better than they are. We mustn't allow our optimism to overcome our scepticism.

Please listen when I say I much prefer natural tits. Whether they're flat like two peas on a plate, small and saggy, or large and pendulous they always feel and look better to me than those hard round 'enhanced' ones.

Tit's with implants can look great in photos but in real life they don't move right and they feel hard and lumpy. Not to mention that they go wrong - often with disastrous consequences.

I've had an idea! Why don't you take a few pix of your gf's tits and post them on this thread. Then we can have a chance to say something nice about them and perhaps she'll start to like them herself.

don't do it.....in my experience, many divorces soon follow boob jobs....suddenly your wife will get noticed from other guys and she may begin to think "the grass is greener"

Yeah it is and I know cuz I have to deal with these things every day so who better to give advice to someone who wants big tits and IT SUCKS I am gettin a reduction this Fall smart guy. Next time don't attack people you know nothing about... mine are real and a real pain in the ass and they will be smaller as soon as I can get rid of em. I'm an educated medical professional as well as having studied plastic and reconstuctive surgery extensively... you have anything else smart to say?

Lat2131,
About a year ago my wife had a breast lift and augmentation. We did TONS and TONS of research and we ended up going with a surgeon in the area. We have 2 kids and the breast feeding had taken its toll, she also had a tubular breast condition which is why she needed a lift even at her young age.
She has been thrilled with the results (although a little freaked out at first). Her boobs aren't all that larger than before, but she loves the shape. Her surgeon is one of the top rated in the midwest and had significantly lower rates of necrosis, infection, and repeat proceedues than the national averages.
I would advise that you stick with a local professional and keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Check all their references and do a lawsuit search for malpractice suits. We paid about 50% more for this guy, but he was worth every penny. You can PM me if you need more info.

The cactus.

Thanks for all the replies. Just to make it clear I'm not the one who wants this breast implant, I always tell her that they might be small but 100% functional, so thats really enough for me. Having them small don't bother me at all, but she thinks different, she want them bigger. I'll let her know about all the comments posted here. Let's see how it goes. Thanks everyone again.

Get your tits reduced down to little A-cups then come talk to me after 2 years. You would probably want your knockers back. BTW, I am a doctor and have more medical knowledge than you, so don't go there. You just will never know what it's like to have really small breasts. It's like these horsehung guys on here telling the tiny dicks that it's not all it's cracked up to be. But, methinks it is actually one of those "good problems" to have. So again i say...

"That's easy for you to say."

OH! And, if you don't like them, why do you so proudly display them as your avatar??? ( I think that reply was "smart" enough)

Tsk Tsk, C'mon you medical professionals, stop spitting your dummies and give us the low down. What about breast implants and mammography? Do breast implants, or the scar tissue resulting from their implantation, make it less easy for the radiographers and oncologists to get good images and/or see breast tumors?

Lat2131,

I personally think women ruin themselves with fake boobs and fake boobs are out of fashion and much less wanted now than they were in the 90's. Now smaller boobs are even appreciated and there is even a popular niche in porn called Itty Bitty Titties. I look at pics of girls with fake boobs in the porn industry and don't hire them for my scenes. I also stop hiring those who just got them. Fake boobs are becoming less popular in porn and I know because I work in the industry. You will see less of them in PornTube or Xtube. Even some of the ones who used to oversize them have had them redone such as Jenna Jameson. Back in the 90s she had 2 basketballs stuffed in her chest and now she went back to the surgeon to have them reduced to look more natural but they still look fake and I still would never hire someone like that for my shoots. You can share this information with your wife before she butchers herself with the knife. I would even hire flat chested women over women with boob jobs. And boob jobs can leak and become saggy. Look at Tara Reid. She is now a mess from all those bad boob job surgery.
If she insists on having them and there's no talking her out of it, at least don't overstuff them and go for the more natural look. You can tell her that she will no longer be attractive to you if she gets them overdone.
Now ladies wanting boob jobs, imagine men stuffing plastic dildos in their penises and it looks fake. The men who get this surgery could no longer move their penises through kegeling, they no longer get soft and they don't wiggle like a real penis. Would you want a guy like that? I wouldn't want a girl with barbie doll plastic boobs either. Fortunately, penile surgery are more like breast lifts. I tolerate lifts because at least their real.

If thats what she really wants....why not? it only benefits you!!!!

Why let a bunch of us on this forum convince you otherwise?

I know a couple of girls who have done really well after boob jobs, some got breast reduction, some had serious problems with their breasts, and they all turned out fine.

Go to a good doctor man, ask some females who have gotten successful ones (but dont go up to them and ask if her boobs are fake!)
