I think it's a little ridiculous that you guys would tell a woman what to do (or not do) based on your preferences for beauty. If a woman (in this case me) feels her breasts are not what she wants, then she should be allowed to do whatever she wants to them.

My desire to be more well-proportioned is not the result of society, it's the result of my own personal preference!

I expressed my mostly negative feelings about breast implants in a previous post. That does not mean I am telling any woman what to do or not to do. It is of course her decision to make, and I cannot (and would not) "allow" her or "disallow" her from doing anything she wants.

As to personal preferences, it is very hard to ignore how your preferences have been shaped by the society in which you were raised.

Wildhoney ..... YOU ARE MY TYPE OF HONEY ..... LOVE YOUR VIEW OF LIFE!!!
MSG ME

I could'nt agree more! Wildhoney...we must have been sisters in another life! You even appreciate my husband's...ahem...best attribute! I love it!

I also had children before the age of 20. I had mine done last year. My husband tells everyone, "It's the BEST money I ever spent!". Women are under extreme pressure to look good physically, and for most of us, after the age of 40, we need a little help. Period...end of story.

I feel like they balanced out my body and made clothing that I like to wear fit better. I do not believe in judging anyone that has any type of work done. Self esteem is very important, and if doing something cosmetically makes you feel better about yourself, I say go for it.

One caveat: If you are going to do something, DO YOUR HOMEWORK. Not all doctors are created equal. Flashy ads in magazines, TV, or newspapers do not equal good work. For the most part, word of mouth is the best advertisement. The good ones don't need to advertise. Their patients do it for them. I know I do for my doctor.

I like breasts - and the rest of women's bodies - the way nature made them. To me, implants look and feel artificial in most cases. As is often said about penises and size around here, I'm more interested in how they feel and how erogenous they are, than in their size and shape. I can sympathize, though, with women who want to return their breasts to the way they looked originally, and with women who have large breasts and need reductions because of comfort issues.

What I think is a shame, is when women (and men, for that matter) feel pressured to conform their body to particular images they see in media, pornos, etc. If they (you) really want surgery for themselves, fine.

I have thought about it but nothing further. (I would like to go to a larger C cup. ) It would be done sort of as a surprise for R, but he is dead set against it and thinks bigger is overated. (I think he is just being kind though.)

That's something you defintely don't need, R.

When done right, it's a wonderful thing. But I've come across a couple of jobs that weren't quite right and then it's a very bad thing.

i wonder how many of those procedures were done for the woman's sake (i.e. feel-good factor).

As I mentioned in your Gallery comments, I think you have some of the nicest boobs I have EVER seen, I just love the Shape, if you ever think of changing them please send me the current ones..yummy!

I think Wildhoney looks a honey and you do seem to have a nice shape, I have seen some bad implants as well though.

My comments to Jazzer were a compliment but perhaps you took it as an insult, I was not "Telling you what to do with your body" I was trying to show you that its not just plain size that is important to me. If you feel that you are not in the correct shape or proportion then do what you want, as you know you can...I was simply saying that you are pretty and I wouldnt change anything? - cant win:smile:

Thank you Tonka, Chuck--you are very kind. And PLEASE understand, I am not putting down any who have done the implant step.

Wildhoney is GORGEOUS and I am sure there are many others here who have taken that step that are incredibly beautiful--thus my interest.

Renee, it's funny that I just looked at your pics because of a post in another thread (about how many guys stroke off looking at you...) and my first thought was MAN what gorgeous breasts! Then I come back here and see that you have thought about changing them.... I really, really don't see how they could be any nicer than they are right now.

Perfect breasts...
Come in all different sizes and shapes. This would be a horrible, horrible world if every woman's breasts were identical. I don't care how "perfect" they are, if they were all identical they would become pretty damn boring.

Honey has the best breasts I've ever seen. My ex's were nice but Honey's are perfectly shaped :)

Am I right in thinking Honey had hers perked up by doctors/not really increased as such? (haven't read this thread)

One of my sister's friends is having a boob job (or has had it I think). She's only 18. REALLY attractive, just kind of flat chested. She's got a small frame too (probably a foot or a little bit more from shoulder to shoulder). She's got DD's which stretches the skin A LOT. Which for one I think would look wrong on her.

Also, I'd rather play with little real breasts than fake ones. I like the fleshy feel of them. Never felt fake tits and I don't want to.

Say NO to fake boobs. Perking up and primping and preening is okay but don't put sacks of crap/silicone inside yourself.

Myself and my friends would say 'look at those, fake tits' but we wouldn't shag them. We likes real titties.

Girls of 18 having boob jobs is ridiculous, we naturally fill out a little as we get older and they should just wait a little while and enjoy being what they should be at 18 - willowy.

Well put. One of the things that I think is a real shame, is that such young women - or even younger - apparently feel pressure to go under the knife for the sake of fashion or conformity these days.

And willowy can be just fine, too. I hang out with a crowd, that includes some female dancers with traditional dancer physiques (though generally not tending too close to anorexic, thank goddess). I've been getting to know one of them - and, we've definitely been flirting - as our paths have crossed over the last few weeks. She is my height, with beautiful expressive pale blue eyes, and between how she's been dressed lately in loose fitting clothing and my lack of attention (believe it or not) to anything but her face, I couldn't tell you for sure her bust size, except that I don't think she could be as big as a "C". But I can tell you that willowy, small breasted (but mature!) women have been in my fantasies and dreams of late.....

Part of the problem is parents financing a 16 year olds trip under the knife. Based on the cost of the surgery, it's pretty obvious that there's parental support in a lot of cases, which makes me wonder how these assholes actually view their children. Once a full grown adult, hats off to you if you make the decision that augmentation is the right path for you, but having Daddy fork out $6,000 so your prom dress looks juicy on you is disgusting, to say the least. Unfortunately, teens getting augmentation is on a meteoric rise, as teen girls try in vain to compete with the magazine covers that they think they should resemble.

I have big boobs and would never do anything to them to change their appearance. I've had children and nursed them too, but they still look great and I've never had any complaints...only compliments. I think women need to feel good about themselves no matter what their size.

ive always thought it was insane for parents to buy kids cosmetic surgery (unless you needed it for reconstructive purposes). i think the best thing to do is to let the kid make the decision. if they want them then they can get a job, save the 4000+ it costs for the procedure, and then get it done. this will force them (usually) to wait several years, let their body finish developing, and possibly change their mind. and if they do, hey, thats 4k you got saved to move the hell out!

I actually recently had a boob job...but not in the way your thinking. I had extremely large breasts which over the years started succumbing to gravity (and caused some back pain). I had them reduced and lifted. I'm still pretty large (DDD cup) but much more comfortable.

I've been losing weight, and think I may want mine lifted when I'm done too. I'd like to ask you some underwear questions. May I send you a private message?

I too have mostly had compliments (although one troll here told me that I was stupid to not want to get a major reduction). Mine are much larger than yours though, and while I like the way they look, and suffer no pain from them (as long as I sleep on my back) I'd still like to have them lifted, and perhaps reduced. Not only do I think they would look even better, but I had a simpler time buying underwear when I took a DD cup. Also, as if it were not hard enough to find clothing that fit and flattered when I was in a DD cup, it is much, much harder now. I have lost a significant amount of weight, but my breasts have not gotten smaller at the same rate as the rest of me. Consequently, my cup size has risen dramatically. You know all the cute empire waist blouses and dresses that have been so popular for the last three seasons? They make me look pregnant! My bust is much larger compared to my waist than my hips are. MUCH. It is impossible to find clothes that fit off-the-rack. I have to get my grandmother to help me tailor everything, or take them to a tailor, and hope I don't have to have them adjusted a billion times. I like the way l look naked, and I feel so healthy and alive. But my shape makes it very difficult to feel like myself in my own clothes. Not to mention, I pay way more for clothing than any sane person with my income enjoys. Particularly underwear. Do your sports bras still cost $45 when they're on sale? Mine do. They also feel like they need more support than they used to. I don't know if it's just because I'm far more active now, or if it's just the effect of the new ratios. But it's problematic. I'm extremely motivated to change both the size and position of my breasts for these reasons. I plan to see if stronger pectorals will help, and if not, go under the knife.

I don't see this issue nearly as simply as you do. For me, it's not a matter of self-image nearly so much as it is quality of life. I see two routes: Either I learn to make my own bras (No thanks. I'd rather be jogging.) or I get a reduction and lift.
