I read Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell earlier this year and loved it. Apart from the fact its incredibly well written, unique, suspenseful and easy to enjoy, the whole mentality of how who we are and what we do impacting and imprinting the lives of those around you (and lives still to come) left a pretty damn profound effect on me.

Enders Game really made an impact on me when I was in school. Although it's all fake I liked The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown. Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury as well. Just to name 3 off the top of my head.
