I just have to brag, a little bit.

Had to go and buy new underwear today. It's because I've finally lost enough weight that even as snug as I normally wear them, my briefs and boxerbriefs are finally too big. In fact, they're downright roomy, even with the spandex.

SO HAPPY!

Just picked up some E-volve from Target. They fit me well, and support me, at a realistic price. Even better, they were on clearance, presumably "last year's" designs, or some such thing. I'm happy, especially since 4 of the pairs are camo.

I'm holding off on the expensive stuff till my weight stabilizes, probably next year.

To put it in perspective, this morning I'm down 40 pounds from my all-time highest weight. 25 pounds left to my goal weight, and 6" loss from my waist, so far.

Congratulations!! I, too, am on the same path of weight loss. This inspires me to keep on, keepin' on. Good luck buddy.

Wow, I have trouble TRYING to lose 1" from my waist. Well done!

You have earned the right to have new undies.

Good work honey.

I'd go on a diet, but the cougar (that seems to not understand what HOMOSEXUAL means) that I work for would fire me if I was no longer her "Squishy"...

I also like being Shrek.

Good work!

Lost 15 pounds and still losing. Went down a couple of inches in the waist and just ordered some suspenders for my old 501s which will no longer hang on my butt and threaten to slip. Don't like a belt that bunches them. Hope the doctor will say I'm no longer threatened by diabetes. Feels good, doesn't it?

Well done! What you accomplished is amazing. You SHOULD feel sexier, if the undies help, get more! Whatever motivates you. Wish you continued success.

Well done, guy, hardest thing in this world to do. Have recently lost a lot of weight, working on getting the skin back in shape and muscle tone back. Feel so much better for getting rid of the excess. Keep up your good work.

Weight loss is all well and good, but my goal is also fitness. I chose a username I could grow into, and I'm finally doing it.

To that end, I started the C25K program in October, and finished the 7th week this morning. I could barely stagger along for 60 seconds when I started. This morning, I ran 3.58 miles in 45 minutes.

In other words, I've got the 5K distance covered. Now it's time to focus on speed.

Next step, body weight exercises. And after that, free weights!

My diet has been shifting to more protein, more meat, that sort of thing. And, fewer carbs. While not paleo, I'm definitely heading that direction.

Thanks for the kudos, everyone.

Oh, and this redneck is loving the camo pattern. Wish I could get more.
