Hi guys I'm curious to know what kind of boxers you're wearing (if you wear boxers) and why. I've been a briefs guy for some 50+ years but since I got my PA last year I've been wearing boxers more and more. I found Perry Ellis in Marshalls very nice because they are a little shorter than others and the leg opening is a bit sider, I think. I don't care for the long boxers because they're harder to tuck down into my pants or jeans. Are there any other brands that you know of that are shorter than the typical boxer? Maybe with a wider leg opening too?
the new hanes no gap fly boxers are a whole lot shorter than regular boxers look for the no gap sticker on the package I myself wear either Hanes or fruit of the loom boxers
I usually wear FTL boxer briefs but also like the FTL knit boxers which have really short legs esp if they shrink at all. I think I have some hanes boxers but the leg opening is kinda restrictive.
I wear FTL boxer briefs mostly but have some knit FTL boxers that have really short legs. I have some hanes boxers but the opening for the legs is kinda restrictive.
doing a Google search I found a vintage site called rustyzipper.com. They have a great selection of old style gym shorts etc. I remember these PE gym shorts from the 70s - how comfortable they were (we had to wear a jock under them) and you could definitely see up guys legs when doing sit ups! For lounging around the house, these are perfect.
Marshalls, TJMaxx and Steinmart (and Ross too) usually have good selections of boxers but recently there's practically nothing interesting, especially with the shorter legs. Just some of what I consider off brands like Lucky Brand, cotton/poly blends. I like the 100% cotton boxers.
I work out in the Texas Gulf Coast heat/humidity. Boxers let the sweat run down your azz, and onto your taint. From there, it runs down the insides of your thighs. It feels like you are pissing on yourself. Isn't that sexy? Actually, I love boxers. It is nice to get some air up there, and to be free. Just at work, I have to wear support or I'll sit on my nuts or have things stick to my legs.
I've tried many brands and like FTL the best, but there is a catch. FTL makes standard full cut boxers in 2 fabrics: 55/45 blend and 100% cotton. You would think that the all cotton would feel nicer, but the reverse is true. The blend fabric is lighter and more pliable than the 100% cotton. They don't seem to ride up / bunch as bad as others. Look at the fabric content before you buy. Many of the boxers that I've tried are heavier weight, and feel like I'm wearing gym shorts under my clothes. Dave NoCal mentioned Merona boxers. The leg openings are wider than most brands. Feels good when you wear them with gym shorts as there is plenty of fresh air reaching your goods.
I have tried them all! And what I have found to be the best are Brooks Brothers, 100% Egyption cotton, waist band is perfect, along with the length and leg opening, no bunching, and man they feel great on the cock! Try them, a little pricey, but they last forever, a very good investment
these have tight legs so sweat does not run down your legs.have worn the air wick things and when you run and sweat runs down you legs and your shoes fill up with sweat. I love the Tx Gulf coats.
So I guess the less expensive brands are the most preferred/comfortable etc. Someone else told me about Merona and said the legs open nicely for viewing if you're having guests/roommates and like showing off.
