I wish I could figure this out. Whenever I wear boxer briefs (not boxers or briefs), my left nut starts to ache. Yesterday, I haven't had the aching for a while, so I decided that I would wear one of the boxer briefs that lay in my underwear drawer getting very little use (only wear it when my wife and I have sex). Boom! The pain returns. I like the looks of these boxer briefs, but man, they cause aching. I wonder way. Do they sit on a nerve in a way that other underwear doesn't? I was trying to be trendy. But no luck. Any theories??

See your doctor!

You don’t tell us what you wear with no pain. I’m assuming underwear that had a looser fit. Boxer briefs are typically form fitting, you may need a larger size. Some materials are more clingy so you might look there.
I would recommend boxer briefs that have an anatomical pouch. That’s what I mainly wear. Obviously brand and AC are my favorites.
