breaking news~still unsure where to respond

where should i reply-back for the comments? to their profile or just in mine ?
or do i get a notification when someone quoted my post in threads? or the site notifies me when someone just posts?

If you want to reply to a comment in a thread then find the comment you wish to reply to and then press the quote button in the corner of the comment window. Another box will appear where you can add your reply then press submit when you are done.

If you want to write a message on a users profile or send them a pm then click the name of the member you wish to reply to and a list of options will display for you to choose.

If you want to follow a specific thread then click thread tools and press subscribe to thread where a list of options will display and this allows you to be notified by email or any other comments added to the thread.
