He needs to show much more in the show. I think he just appears shirtless until now. For example, Ritchson and Orpin appear totally back naked...

Sorry for the soapbox but I am in a mood.

Gay baiting is becoming a norm. Trying to seem edgy and "open minded" is an objective for young Hollywood. The benefits of the game/deception seem to outweigh the negatives. I assume winning over "the gays" is perceived as a long-term career investment as we tend to stick with people for a good while and we also perceived to have disposable incomes and a desire to consume entertainment media and related merchandising at rates equal or greater than our heterosexual female cohorts.

I don't care for it. I would rather someone be honest or even homophobic than put on a sexual pretense...it is pandering. Because you know they want to straddle the fence without risking anything and it irritates me.

The cutesy games the interviewers and celebrities play offend me. I would like an interviewer go in for the kill. "Interesting. So have you had any sexual activity, aside from kissing, with another male?"

You know damn well the interview would go south real quick. At they end of the day it is not really about actually being "open" it is about being perceived as being "open" but not actually dare risking commitment to anything too fruity that would alter the carefully crafted and market-tested woke bro-hunk image.

It's an exercise in vanity. As if anyone anywhere could actually win over “the gays.”
