It’s part of the alphamale-worship/ bro culture a lot of needy young straight guys (and immature old guys) are indoctrinated into. They crave a social hierarchy that romanticizes their masculinity, makes them feel like part of a club, and gives them a code of order to live their lives to. At its worst, it gives you Trump or any other dictator-strongman, but it usually just yields shallow and mildly douchey guys. If they’re sexy looking and dumb enough to get naked on the internet, I’m okay with it
