With briefs or boxerbriefs, pointing my dick up when it's limp is more comfortable for me than pointing it down. The catch is that very often gravity will make it fall, hence, the need to adjust. If I let it point down, the stretchy nature of the knit fabric clings to the head, and I don't like it. My way around the gravity issue pulling it down was to go with boxers instead and let the bitch hang without anything tight around the head. It took a few weeks to get used to, but it works for me.
